Whereas previously you could only use the Cloak Mod OWB holster for this purpose, you can now use your Alien Gear IWB holster as a home, office or car holster as well by using the easy Cloak Dock IWB holster mount.
It shares many attributes with the Cloak Dock OWB holster mount. You must use a compatible Alien Gear holster (any of our IWB models will do) but that gives you the ability to mount the holster in any location you wish to. There has to be a hard surface to mount it to, of course.
The IWB Cloak Dock can be mounted to virtually any hard surface capable of bearing the weight. Wall mount? Put it right next to the talking fish. Want to hide your gun in the office? Mount to the interior of your desk for perfect concealment. Bedroom or other furniture? Totally fine. Car holster? We got you covered, so you can keep yourself covered while driving.
Ultimate Concealed Carry Holster Mounting System
The Cloak Dock IWB holster mount can create the ultimate concealed carry system, with all of the strengths and none of the traditional drawbacks of IWB carry.
By employing a holster mount, you can use your IWB holster for normal carry but also as a concealed carry car holster. Keep your gun safely holstered but also concealed from view but ALSO within easy reach.
Many concealed carriers find that concealed carry in the car is difficult, as sitting with a gun in an IWB holster can be uncomfortable. Furthermore, accessing the gun if one needs to while sitting AND belted can be problematic if not virtually impossible in a short span of time.

Easy Installation With This Holster Mount For IWB Holster
Just like the Cloak Dock OWB, this holster mount for IWB holster system is easy to install. All you'll need is a power drill. You won't have to run to the hardware store either, as we include all the mounting hardware you need.
Mounting hardware includes screws and other ancillaries for mounting to drywall, wood, metal and plastic. That way, the holster mount can be attached to a wall, office or bedroom furniture for an office desk holster or bedside holster, or a gun holster for car use.
Simply use your IWB holster backer as an installation template.
Attach the holster dock clips to your holster belt clips. Use the screw holes to mark where to drill holes for screws. Attach the docking clips to the mounting surface. Once installed, you have a holster mounting station for your IWB holster.
Use Could Not Be Simpler For Home or Car Holster Mount
The Cloak Dock IWB is so simple to use once installed as a home, office or car pistol holster dock.
You simply slide your holster belt clips over the docking tabs. They click into place, retaining the holster. To remove, gently lift the clips and slide the holster out. That's it.
Note, however, that use is slightly different than with the Cloak Dock and Cloak Mod holster docking system. The Cloak Mod can be inserted into the Cloak Dock in either a face out or face in configuration, and at any cant setting. The Cloak Dock IWB is slightly different.
The Cloak Dock IWB can likewise be used with the holster facing out or facing in, but it works best with the holster shell facing out. The IWB dock lacks a retention plate, so the holster backer itself acts as a support for the gun. If installed facing inward, the holster will sag under the weight of the gun, accelerating wear. This will also make drawing your pistol much more difficult, with a less stable platform to pull from.
Take care to install the mount brackets to hold your holster belt clips as they are set when you carry. If you adjust your cant, this can make it more difficult to slide your belt clips onto the mounting brackets and lock them into place. Depending on the holster model, it may be still achievable in some instances, but may not in others. If you adjust your cant angle, you may need to adjust the mounting to get the perfect fit.
