Okay folks. In full disclosure, I'm one of the principal writers for Alien Gear Holsters. I really enjoy having the opportunity to talk about concealed carry practices, safety, responsibility, and some really awesome concealed carry holsters that I personally use everyday. I was asked by my editor to showcase five articles Alien Gear Holsters has put out since the beginning of 2015.
I'm going to be focusing on pieces that reinforce the core values of firearm safety, responsibility, and reasonable use of concealed carry firearms. If you haven't seen these articles, I believe they have some good information that will be useful for you.
1. Four Rules Of Gun Safety For Concealed Carry
This is a very important part. The majority of negligent discharges and injuries occur because the person firing the gun failed to follow these core four rules.
If you don't feel like reading the article, definitely check out this video which covers it all in about five minutes. It's always good to review this information – even if you feel you know it. A negligent discharge happens because of carelessness.

2. What's So Important About Dry Firing?
If you're a concealed carrier and you're not dry firing your weapon regularly, your safety may be at risk. Dry firing is a cheap, inexpensive way to familiarize yourself with your draw from an inside the waistband holster. It's also great for reinforcing assessment, draw, fire, re-holster skills which are all imperative to any concealed carrier.
