Ruger LC9s Pro ShapeShift OWB Slide Holster

Comfort can be split into two categories: physical and mental. The ShapeShift Ruger LC9s Pro belt slide holster targets both of those categories by implementing a multi-layered, engineered backer that reduces abrasion on the skin, and using an adaptable, modular, tool-less shell that will give the carrier the peace of mind to switch between carry styles if they so choose.

The backer has three layers. A closed-cell neoprene textile rests against the body to cushion the impact on the skin and wick moisture away from the holster and the firearm. A layer of high drag Alien Skin textile sits in the front and encloses a flexible, spring steel core, which provides structure and molds to the body.

The shell on this Ruger OWB holster is injection-molded with high-grade polymer, as are the parts holding it together, to precisely fit your subcompact handgun. The shell may be removed from the backer and installed onto another holster system to match any other preferred carry method like appendix or IWB at the 5 o'clock position.

A custom retention bar may be installed to control the reliable passive retention to be either tighter or looser for the most preferable draw.

The idea is this: the gun owner should have control over every aspect of their holster system, from the draw of the gun to placement on the body.
