The Cloak Mod Ruger Security 9 Compact Paddle Holster is a dedicated belt holster, for wearing loud and proud around the home, at the range or anywhere else. It carries securely, with more passive retention than any other open top OWB.

The Cloak Mod is also far more versatile than any other Ruger Security 9 Compact OWB holster. While the basics of the holster don't change - an open-top OWB for open carry - but the details can all be changed.

The holster comes standard as a paddle holster. However, this paddle is built a bit different than most others. The paddle is contoured, for comfort, but also features a retention lip for added security. The retention lip holds tight when inserted over the waistband, though some people thread it over the belt as an easy-off slide.

Cant angle can also be changed. You can wear it as a straight-drop, or give it a 15-degree cant to the forward or to the rear.

You can also change the paddle for the included belt slide attachment if you prefer a more traditional belt holster.

The Cloak Mod also features a spring steel flex plate between the hard polymer base plate and the molded thermoelastomer surface. The spring steel plate flexes when the pistol is inserted, acting as a passive retention assist. There's also a trigger guard retention bump on the thermoelastomer surface layer.

Combined with a custom-molded retention shell and adjustable hardware to dial in the retention and draw profile, you have an OWB holster with more passive retention than any other. This open top holster is made to be used during all but the most strenuous of activity.
