The holster itself is the ShapeShift shell, custom-molded for the Sig P320 and M17 pistol in .40 S&W. The fitment is so precise that this holster will not fit the 9mm model of these pistols, nor vice versa. The trigger guard is fully wrapped for greater security.
Retention on this shoulder holster for Sig P320 .40 pistols comes from adjustable passive retention and a thumb break strap for active retention. The thumb break strap, however, is removable, so it can be taken off if so desired.
The straps are joined via a clover harness, giving them articulation for a comfortable carry. The shoulder straps are also padded with CoolVent neoprene, as are the magazine carrier and holster base pads. Belt hooks at the bottom of these base pads can hook to the belt to pull the straps in tight, aiding concealment.
