ShapeShift Springfield XD-S 3.3" Shoulder Holster by Alien Gear Holsters
Concealed carry with a Springfield XD-S 3.3" shoulder holster has been improved. Alien Gear redesigned the typical shoulder carry experience with a modular, hybrid option.
The fitment, retention, customization and comfort have all been updated with the ShapeShift Shoulder Holster, part of the ShapeShift Modular Holster System. All prior deficiencies in this carry style were targeted Alien Gear's new option.
Its harness rests centered between the shoulder blades, wraps over both shoulders, connects below both armpits and hooks to the waistline. Its straps may be raised or lowered to rest the handgun and mag carriers at the preferred ride height.
The handgun's cant angle can be altered downward or upward for personal preference and accessibility. Speaking of accessibility, the holster has three optional levels retention, including adjustable passive retention and two forms of active retention (a thumb break and a thumb release).
The materials in the ShapeShift Shoulder Holster were carefully chosen for function and form factor. English Bridle Leather is the primary textile, but padded CoolVent™ Neoprene was sewn into the contoured shoulder straps, which cushions against the body and wicks sweat.
Edge-bound neoprene is also beneath the mag carrier, which holds Alien Gear Cloak Mag Carriers, and handgun platform.
Product designers included elastic inside the shoulder harness to help the holster move with the body and fit more comfortably. The polymer belt hooks are also connected to elastic for better fitment.
