Why buy just one SD9 VE holster when you can get up to four for the price of one? Alien Gear has spent more than two years developing a whole new holster system that will change what you can expect from a SD9 holster. In fact, it isn't even a holster at all. It's a carry system that will allow you to carry your SD9VE how you want, when you want.

The core of the ShapeShift is the injection-molded shell, made from a nearly indestructible polymer. The ShapeShift Core Carry Pack for the S&W SD9 VE includes one full Shift Shell and two trigger guards. The proprietary toolless rails fit together and lock by means of the included twist lock, allowing you to put either the full shells together or a full shell and a half-shell to lock to one of the two supplied backers.

The two included backing pads are of a similar design to our award-winning Cloak Tuck 3.0 IWB holster, and feature the same neoprene backer, spring steel core and Alien Skin surface. There are three carry methods that can be employed with the backers, including two IWB options and one OWB method.

If you attach the shell to the smaller backing pad, you can attach the larger belt clip for use as an SD9 appendix holster. Enjoy a whole other world of comfort with this holster configuration, as few other appendix holsters will carry this comfortably.

For OWB concealed carry, attach the belt slide attachments with the smaller backer. This creates a high-ride hybrid SD9 OWB holster. For those who prefer to conceal with an OWB holster, this will be the easiest method to carry with the ShapeShift holster system. An untucked shirt or light outerwear will be all that's required to conceal in this manner.

For use as a traditional SD9 VE IWB holster, attach the larger backer to the outer shell and trigger guard shell. Each wing has our adjustable belt clips, allowing you to set ride height and grip cant to your satisfaction.

Those who prefer a more robust OWB holster can attach the two outer shells and attach the paddle attachment for an SD9 VE paddle holster.

Concerned about retention? It is completely customizable. We include three sizes of trigger guard retention brackets - light, medium and heavy - that provide passive retention. However, if you prefer or need more, we also include a finger-lock and thumb-release, which gives the wearer up to Level III retention.

No other holster company makes a holster system close to the same level of customizability or function.

Just like our other products, the ShapeShift SD9VE holster system comes with our 30-day "Test Drive" trial period, during which you can wear the holster and decide if it's really what the holster you wanted. If not, return for a refund prior to the lapsing of the trial period.

We also offer you a lifetime warranty on your ShapeShift holster. As long as you own it, we will fix any issue that arises with your ShapeShift holster, regardless if it's due to manufacturing defect or damage. (Given the material it's made from, that will be difficult to manage.) If we can't fix it, we will send you a new holster.
