The belt clips are located just aft of the trigger guard, so the pistol rides high on the belt line. As a result, this SD9VE OWB holster rides high, tight, and with the flexible backer, comfortably.

Retention won't ever be an issue. The ShiftShell is custom molded for the SD9VE, so fitment is perfect right out of the packaging. The unique ShiftShell design also fully wraps the trigger guard, keeping the trigger perfectly secure while carrying. You can also adjust the retention force to your satisfaction; dial it in good and tight for an uber-secure hold, or adjust for an easy draw.
