As a new gun owner and someone who has about a year of experience, I like many people went through many holsters until I found the one and this is most definitely the one. As soon as I put it on I could tell but this was a different holster all together. The Comfort level is just outstanding. The retention, the different levels of adjusting and the overall feel of the holster is everything I could want. For the price you are definitely getting your money's worth in this holster. The price is outstanding for such a quality piece. This fits my Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9 mm absolutely perfect and I could not be happier. I have used IWB holsters for over 10 years for EDC. This was my first Alien Gear purchase. I couldn't be happier. This holster is very comfortable, even without a break in period. It has changed my EDC weapon because of this. I am now carrying a G45, even though my previous EDC was a Sig P365. I got the Alien Gear holster just because I haven't been happy with my previous holsters from another unnamed company. The other holsters were leather, and while high quality, were taking too long to break in. (2 years and still creaking like a saddle every move I made). The Alien Gear holster is quiet during wear, and is easy to use for draw and reholsteriing, I am very pleased, and came back today to order the Alien Gear Shape Shifter pocket holster for my P365. I shopped around for several weeks for a holster for my XDS. I wanted something that had a good grip on my waistband, snug, easy to draw, and not too expensive. This holster hit every single one of those marks! After trying it on and feeling how comfortable it was and held my pistol, I immediately wanted to leave a review to support these guys craftmanship. Well done, Alien Gear! I even tried it out in my pajama pants (although it's made and recommended for a belt) and the clips still held on to my waistband and allowed me to draw without coming out. The pad is very comfortable and not overly thick. These are low profle with no extra "fluff." Didn't even need to adjust anything, even the provide instructions to do so. That tells me they're committed to making sure the customer gets it exactly how they want it, even though AG does a damn good job of getting it right. A lifetime guarantee makes it more than worth what they charge. I'll be a lifelong customer from now on, BRAVO! (Posted on 1/11/2021)

I have been using mine for 6 months now and it has worked very well.. I carry a Sig P365XL and it is comfortable for all day carry and it conceals very well with my shirt untucked and tucked in. The only "issue" (I use that term loosely) is that the screws came loose, but that could have been my fault for not tightening them down enough. So now I just check them one a month just in case. I purchased the Cloak Tuck 3.5 IWB for my Glock 42 5 years ago. I carry practically every day and this holster is still holding strong with not a single issue. This is seriously the best and most comfortable IWB holster out there. I love it so much that as soon as I purchased my new gun, Glock 20, the first thing I did was get on Alien Gear website and order another IWB holster. It was very tiring trying to put this holster on. I had to sit in a chair for a few hours to readjust but I do have a disability also which is why I want to carry my gun in the first place. I also tried the shapeshift holsters and exchanged for this. These holsters just seem not to work for human beings. Maybe the aliens have a different anatomy than what we have.
