The sales staff and customer service has been pleasurable to work with and very accommodating. We look forward to a long relationship with AlienGear Holsters. (Posted on 1/15/2021) - Great Holster with Good Retention Review by Cona

CONS: No spare hardware; thicker duty belts will have a hard time adjusting; does rub the coating from side and top of Glock slide
All in all, great holster. The cons are not functionally compromising. I'm ok with it rubbing my duty weapon as long as I can draw quickly and smoothly. A bit pricey but for a durable product made in USA, Ill pay it as opposed to the cheap foreign competitors. (Posted on 1/12/2021) - Practical, Robust Holster Review by Dolph

My only minor dislikes about it are that it doesn't yet have a quick disconnect system so you can transfer it to another belt and the ejection port release lever has some play in it, but I realize I have an earlier prototype model. I understand there is a second generation coming soon with upgrades.
I have been in Law Enforcement for nearly eighteen years, in many capacities and have spent ten years on tactical teams. I have competed in multiple handgun, three gun and SWAT competitions, including the Florida International SWAT Roundup. I currently am an assistant Armorer and Rangemaster for my Agency. I thoroughly trust this holster to do I what I need it to do and recommend it, especially for the price as well!

Well, this week my department had qualifications and the holster worked like a champ with very little carry time or practice. It was worth the wait and I highly recommend the holster. The only thing I need to work on is re-holstering. I run a light and the first holster was a hand me down from a partner. I'm glad I made the switch.
I look forward to carrying this for the foreseeable future. (Posted on 8/27/2020) - need to fit Sig P320 M18 Review by Todd

I did, however, see a few small shortcomings with the holster. The threads of the screws that secure the straps to the duty belt are exposed after installation. One, it cosmetically doesn't look good to have exposed threads like that and two it's a sharp point sticking out of the holster. I did file it down so it's not as obvious but I have to hope that I don't need to take this off my belt.
The other item I found disappointing was the lack of any scratch protection for my Glock. I'm finding that the holster is wearing away the coating on my slide, both the top and sides.
Otherwise I think it's a great holster. I like the quick release hood and easy thumb release. I did find that I had to adjust my duty belt because if anything is in the way of allowing the hood to move forward I could potentially have my Glock stuck in the holster. (Posted on 3/30/2020)
