Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and innovative E-commerce Manager to oversee the development, maintenance, and optimization of our Shopify store. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Shopify’s platform, including theme customization, app integrations, content management and creation and analytics. This role requires both a creative and technical mindset to ensure the eCommerce site offers a seamless shopping experience, aligns with the company’s brand, and drives revenue growth. This role will collaborate with our marketing, design, development and customer service teams and play a vital role in driving conversions and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in Shopify, leveraging its features to optimize and update the website efficiently.
  • Oversee daily operations of the Shopify store, ensuring uptime, functionality, and optimal performance.
  • Manage and update product listings, collections, pricing, and promotional offers.
  • Customize Shopify themes to match the brand's visual identity and improve the user experience.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to implement new features, pages, or layouts.
  • Continuously optimize the store for improved conversion rates, customer engagement, and retention.
  • Analyze Shopify analytics and other performance metrics to identify growth opportunities.
  • Implement A/B tests and data-driven improvements to the Shopify store.
  • Work with marketing teams to align the website with campaigns, promotions, and branding strategies.
  • Monitor and improve the customer journey by addressing pain points in the shopping process.
  • Ensure seamless checkout functionality and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Manage and maintain website content, ensuring all information is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Develop and implement a content calendar for product descriptions, blog posts, landing pages, and promotional content.
  • Collaborate with the design and development teams to ensure the website’s visual and functional elements enhance the user experience.
  • Optimize website content for SEO, working closely with the SEO Manager to improve organic search performance.
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness and accessibility of all website content.
  • Coordinate with the Paid Advertising Manager to align landing pages with paid campaigns.
  • Manage product launches by uploading images, descriptions, and other relevant content.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging content technologies.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Shopify website management, preferably in eCommerce.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) is a plus.
