Cloak Tuck 3.5 Smith and Wesson M&P9 Shield EZ IWB Holster

Concealed carry won't get more comfortable than with the Cloak Tuck 3.5 Smith and Wesson M&P9 Shield EZ IWB holster. This holster has been engineered to function perfectly, but carry so comfortably that you'll forget the gun is even there. Start your 30-day trial period and discover how comfortable concealed carry can be.

This Smith and Wesson M&P9 Shield EZ concealed carry holster is the perfection of the hybrid holster design. The multi-layer holster base uses modern materials with a reinforcing layers. The holster is rigid for strength and stability, creating a strong platform to draw from, but also pliable so that it fits your shape and wears comfortably.

The base of this M&P9 Shield EZ IWB has a backing layer of breathable neoprene, which lets your skin breathe and wicks away moisture. The edges are bound, so you don't feel the layers. This pads the back of the holster, making it incredibly comfortable.

The holster base is reinforced with layers of woven ballistic nylon and a spring steel core. The firm spine gives the holster enough rigidity to create a stable platform to draw from and reholster to, but without sacrificing the flexibility needed for the holster to fit you comfortably.

The base is joined by a custom-molded retention shell. The shell on this S&W M&P9 Shield EZ hybrid holster keeps the pistol securely in place, ensures a reliable draw, and won't collapse after drawing the pistol unlike cloth holsters, allowing seamless drawing and reholstering.

Retention is adjustable via the mounting hardware. You can even customize the fit with the included Parts Pack. To adjust the ride position, simply move the toolless belt clips by rotating and gently prying out, then placing in the desired position.

The Cloak Tuck 3.5 Smith and Wesson M&P9 Shield EZ IWB holster is made in the USA, and comes backed by our Iron-Clad Guarantee. comfortable for all-day wear, can almost forget its there. quality/assembly seems good. Holster is worn daily, and so far no problems... tho you should periodically check your tension screws unless you use thread-locker (Loctite)... but after breaking it and myself in, they don't seems to need checking as often... now if only I could find a BELT that is as comfortable as the holster (big guy with gut here, mostly it's the belt loops on the pants digging in, not usually the belt itself)
Have recommended AG to other friends and coworkers. (Posted on 6/28/2020)

Simply, this holster is effective. I have the new S&W M and P with the built in crimson Trace laser. I had A little trouble finding a holster that would fit the laser. That's until I found Alien Gear. They had it handled. The holster set is comfortable and I can wear it all day. I've owned it for a while and since then I lost a washer. Alien Gear sent me A washer/ Spacer kit at no charge. Thanks AG. (Posted on 6/12/2020)
Tuck 3.0 Review by Javan

Simply put, I love this holster. I conceal carry my full frame S&W M&P .40 and it conceals as nicely as my 9mm Shield. It also has a smooth draw, re holsters easily, and locks in nicely while working and doing chores. It can be a little sweaty when it's a hot day, but that doesn't bother me much. This is all around a 5 stars holster. I can carry casual or with a tucked in dress shirt (hence the name).

The only draw back I have found is that the trim stitched around the edging of the holster. Both ends of the material meet directly in line with the muzzle, and that location is a rub point. This causes irritation on my upper thigh/lower butt cheek. (This is a recent development...)

All in all, as I mentioned. It has become my go to as long as I find a fix for the rubbing. (Posted on 6/8/2020)

Plastic "step defects" Caught Trigger Guard Review by Bob

From new product (Beretta M9) was unable to smoothly draw even with tying multiple options of retention and cant over almost an hour. I inspected further and noticed the plastic form on trigger appeared to be finished at factory with several "steps" ground in. These steps were catching the edge of my pistol's trigger guard making it almost impossible to draw (stuck because of snag). I had to use my Dremel tool and a bit of sand paper to smooth the steps down and it now draws fine. Please inspect and correct the finish for these items at the factory so customers are not required to figure this out and sand down the little steps on their own. (Posted on 4/11/2020)

This holster is wonderful, It's so comfortable that sometime I've fallen asleep with it still on when I get home some nights. I currently do not use it anymore because I upgraded to a weapon mounted light. What sucks is that I can't order a shell that would accommodate the XH35 that I attached to my Glock 23. I've had this holster since Winter 2016. When (if ever) i take the light off my weapon, I would definitely be using this holster again. (Posted on 4/4/2020)

I bought my first Alien Gear Holster over three years ago for my Ruger LC9s. I have worn it nearly every day since then, that is until I purchased a Sig P365. There was never any doubt where I would be purchasing my new holster. I love the comfort fit and quality of both holsters. I almost forgot to mention the great service. (Posted on 3/31/2020)
A little disappointed... Review by Michael

I have been wanting to try out an Aliengear Holster for a long time. I have purchased many holsters from a few different companies. If i find a product I like, it's hard to switch, and this has me wondering if I spend the money in the right place.

This particular holster was for a Springfield Armory XD-S with a CT Laser. The holster backing seems top top notch. Given, I've only wore it twice, but it's comfortable. My gripe is with the shell. The holster comes with different spacers and screws which i know can come in handy if you change shells, but it didn't even come assembled with the spacers i needed for the gun i purchased it for.. The gun was about 1/4 of an inch too wide for how it shipped. No problem, I can swap them out. Then i find that the gun doesn't quite fit as well as one would hope. Well, the kydex on the muzzle end seemed to interfere with the guide rod and muzzle just enough to not 'snap' into place. Looking on the inside of the shell, it looked like there were grooves for where the material should have been removed. I got out a file and made as many passes as it took to relieve enough material to let the gun seat properly. This was not hard, but just not something i should have to do. It cleared was not run through any quality control since you couldn't even put a gun in the holster how it shipped.

Last gripe i with the belt clips. Yes, they strongly hold the gun in place, but you need to take 5 minutes to put it on and take it off because they are so still. I'll have to see if they have any metal clips that might be a little more friendly. Not sure if I'd buy this holster again. (Posted on 3/28/2020)
The best quality and customer service Review by Dave

Originally purchased the Cloak Tuck 3.0. At its introduction it was the top of the line concealment holster on the market. I loved it other than the screws constantly backing out. I called to get replacement screws and was informed of the Cloak Tuk 3.5 and Ailen Gear would do a warranty upgrade for $6.00. Talk about customer service.
Alien Gear really stands behind their product.
So much so that, I ordered a 2nd holster for my 1911
Im one very impressed customer. I will be a customer for life.
Side note: The operator that fixed my problem......GREAT ATTITUDE VERY FRIENDLY.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK (Posted on 3/24/2020)
