The holster shipped in 2 days. Exactly what I wanted, comfortable, rides high and very snug. It conceals as well as an IWB. I adjusted the retention screws one rotation and the G27 fits perfectly. Would recommend to anyone. (Posted on 11/16/2020)

I have had this OWB holster for about 3-4 years now and its the most comfortable one I've had. I now need to buy another one because the leather is starting to wear pretty bad, but its been on my hip probably 350 days every year. (Posted on 8/26/2020)

I purchased the first IWB years ago and HATED it. I had to use a shell that came close to my pistol. After a few modifications, it worked ok. The biggest flaw was that the holster did not go past the grip. Thus it bit into you whenever you sat or bent over.
PLUS you had to buy pants a size larger.
Purchased the Cloak Belt. It's OWB, but a million times better. Love that the holster goes above the grip, and the shell actually fits my pistol.

Bought this because I liked the modularity of it. One of the guns I intended to carry with this is a glock 26, but unfortunately, the shell molding does not lock into the trigger guard enough to give secure retention. The gun can easily pop out of the holster during vigorous movement. And before you ask, yes, I tried all the different sizes of rubber spacers. There was no combination that created a decent fit.

I contacted support and got basically a shrug and a blank stare. They didn't seem to think there was a problem, and offered nothing to resolve the problem. Needless to say, I won't be buying another alien gear holster. I much prefer my holster from a competitor. (Posted on 1/20/2020)

Hello DK, thank you for the review and feedback. Our Cloak series holsters are passive retention holsters so they do rely on the screws and spacers to adjust the retention. They also rely on the tension from your belt. We recommend wearing your holster tight against your body. With the shell, if the holster is adjusted too tight it can cause the firearm to not fit in the shell correctly and it may cause it to be pushed out of the holster. After very little use, in under two years the belt loops broke. Wanted me to send the entire holster back for warranty, would not send me the parts. Very poor quality and service.

The OWB was ok. It would be nice if the backing was higher to enable the gun to go in easier. The leather loops have loosened up over time (so do all the screws) and it tends to flop around a lot now. Support told me over chat they can replace the base under warranty, but still comes with the same sub standard materials. It was good while it lasted, but time to switch to another brand of OWB holster. If the backing was cut higher and the belt support was a hard material, sure, I'd send it back in for replacement, but it's not that great. (Posted on 7/8/2019)
