I ordered the Photon Backer to add a bit more comfort to the Photon holster for my Hellcat Pro w/red dot sight. Definitely added to the comfort since the Photon itself is not backed like most of the Shape Shift series. The draw and return seem to be even a bit smoother with the backer in place cause it gives just that little bit of extra distance from the body.
Works amazingly well with the Tac Strap I have. Doesn’t shift when im moving or entering or exiting my vehicle
It was not lining up with my photon iwb holster. very hard to align.
The rapid force level 2 is pho nominal. I can use it for my Glock 19 with radian ramjet and my Glock 47 just change the pistol not the holster.
This is a well fitting and great quality holster.
I use an Alien Gear Rapid Force Duty Level 3Holster for my duty weapon at work and this is a great addition at Level 2 retention. Will be buying another soon.
The holster works and functions perfectly. If you like Safariland, this holster exceeds them.

Its not a bad holster. It does take a long time to get used to the draw motion. My biggest issue is it marks my Glock up even after spraying the inside with some lubricant. Maybe after some more practice with it, ill give the Safariland a break as my goto duty holser.

Fits absolutely perfect with Glock 17 and TLR-7HL-X. Also works with Gock 19 with or without the light.
I am amazed at how comfortable it is. I did get the leather backer. That not only make it comfortable, it also keeps it in place. The retention is very good. I did have to back the screws out just to get my gun out.
I thought of it’s delivery as a personal and exotic delivery. Curious, if my initial feeling, will remain.
great idea and execution but in practical every day use in the IWB configuration , it is difficult to don but once in place it is secure otherwise i would give it 5 stars for value and versatility.
