Fits great, is durable, stays connected to my belt as I get in an out of car. I am a bigger guy and I hardly know it’s there.
Great product. Better the safariland or the circle brand one. Most discreet. Needs adapter for MHA but still good.
It's the best number one i have two from them one for my bodyguard 2.0 Smith & Wesson the other one is for the ball Armory the best
Came fast and fits my s&w mp 2.0 4 inch perfectly
I used to only recommend Alien Gear holsters for my students and anyone who asked as their starter to mid mid tier holster. I've had every version of Cloak Tuck since the very first one across 7 different firearms, They used to pretty much cover any issues with it almost no questioned asked, and the issues were far and few between.
Unfortunately that is no longer the case, While comfortable, the new style 3.5 with the modular belt loops are prone to snap with casual EDC use and they are not covered under warranty.
Additionally you can no longer get replacement shells for the 2.0 and 2.5 Cloak Tucks which ruins the point of a life time modular holster which was the entire reason they were such a good deal.
All of my 2.5 Cloak Tucks with the steel lining and steel belt loops are just fine, and I feel like will continue to be for years to come.
If you need your very first holster for light duty practice then I could recommend the 3.5, Unfortunately if you intend to carry it EDC I can no longer recommend you trust your life to them.
They obviously are aware the belt loops are problematic since they no longer allow the warranty to cover it and if you cant trust your gear then you don't need it.
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback and for supporting and recommending Alien Gear for so many years. We genuinely appreciate the amount of experience you've had with multiple generations of our Cloak Tuck holsters.
We do want to clarify a couple of points. The exclusion of broken or worn belt clips from our current warranty is not an acknowledgment that the clips are defective or that we expect them to fail during EDC use. Our Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, while normal wear and tear and replaceable components are excluded. We understand that this differs from the warranty coverage and service policies you may have experienced with some of our older products.
We also want to clarify the statement regarding replacement shells for your older Cloak Tuck holsters. As long as the holster was purchased after January 2015, our current Cloak Shells will fit the older Cloak Series bases, including compatible 2.0 and 2.5 bases. You do not need to replace the entire holster simply because you need a shell for another supported firearm.
We certainly don't take lightly your concerns about equipment you depend on for EDC, especially considering how long you've used our products and recommended them to your students and others.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the belt loops and understand your disappointment with the differences between our previous and current warranty policies. We'll make sure your comments are shared with the appropriate teams.
Thank you again for your many years of support and for giving us the opportunity to clarify these points.
WORKS AS IT SHOULD HOLDS WEAPON SECURELY AND IS COMFORTABLE
Works great, shipped quickly. Used the IWB appendix clip to convert my shapeshift from OWB to IWB. Used the trigger guard from the OWB set up, removed the belt clip.
A set of instructions for installing the holster into the bag would have been tremendous!! The bag was delivered in one plastic bag, the holster in another along with three pieces of material and there was a baggie of parts stuffed into the holster. But there were no instructions covering how to align the holster with the unloaded handgun inside into the holster. And nothing addressing how to secure the holster inside the bag properly.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We're sorry the instructions weren't readily available when you received your order.
Instructions should have been provided via the QR code on the card included with your order. They can also be found on the product page under User Guide, or you can access them directly here:
https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0881/4854/1726/files/cloak-hook-and-loop-holster-ug-08-24.pdf
The base of the holster uses hook-and-loop (Velcro®) specifically so it can be positioned and secured directly to the corresponding material inside the bag. Because the holster can be positioned according to the user's preferred draw angle and location, there isn't one required orientation for attaching it inside the bag.
We do appreciate your feedback, however, and understand how having clearer instructions specifically addressing the installation into the bag could make the initial setup easier. We'll be happy to pass that suggestion along to our team.
Really wanted to like this holster. Retention was great but it was missing a 3/8 **** so I couldn't use it in conjunction with the claw. Because I don't have access to the claw it doesn't hug against me and prints pretty badly.
Also didn't have a facehugger in there so I can't use the OWB paddle either.
Construction feels solid and it's decently comfy I'd recommend getting the backer though for IWB especially appendix carry.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We're glad to hear you were pleased with the retention, construction, and overall comfort of the holster, but we're very sorry that your order arrived missing the hardware needed to properly configure it.
You absolutely should have received all of the components required to use the claw and OWB paddle as intended. Without those parts, we understand why you weren't able to properly evaluate the holster or achieve the concealment you expected.
We'd like the opportunity to correct this for you. Please contact our Customer Service Team with your order number and shipping information, and we'll review what was missing and get the appropriate replacement hardware/components sent out to you.

I will never buy or own one again Customer Service is a joke an lied about having a shell for a Hellcat Pro that was Optic Cut an Light Bearing

This echelon shell saved the day. I had purchased the cloak holster for my beretta px4 and also this shell for my Springfield echelon not realizing it was only the outer shell. Well my beretta would not release during the draw motion even after loosening the screws to the point that one fell out.
So I took this echelon shell and use it to replace the Beretta PX 4 shell and it worked perfectly. Good solid retention with a fluid draw stroke. Turns out this extra shell saved me from having to return the whole order. I don’t know what was wrong with the px4 shell but I’ll be contacting customer service to see what went wrong
This is my second IWB holster from Alien Gear. I was so impressed with my first one, for my 1911 that I bought another for my XD 45. I love them. Light, easy to put on, holds weapon securely. I love the ability to adjust anyway I can think of. I have a shoulder rig, a drop leg and a chest holster for various pistols. Love them all. My first, go to, place for holsters.
Great holster, cloak paddle holster + photon adapter on belt lock slide. It’s a dream come true please update me if there’s ever a Rapid Force Level 2 or 3 for the Beretta PX4!
I am very happy with the holster, but what possessed you to over engineer something as simple as a mag pouch? I am unhappy with it. I should not have to watch a video to figure out how to assemble something that was supposed to be a finished product. The over complication makes it thicker, so if I could get the pieces together it would be uncomfortable to wear. And now it is on me to go through the hassle of returning it or else eat the cost. I have used and recommended Alien Gear products for years, but will probably not be soing so in the future.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, and we're glad to hear you're very happy with your new Cloak Tuck 3.5 IWB Holster. We also appreciate the many years you've used and recommended Alien Gear products.
We're sorry the Single Cloak Mag Carrier hasn't provided the same experience. The carrier is designed to be configurable rather than shipped in one fixed configuration, allowing the Customer to adjust it for their magazine, preferred retention, and carry setup. We understand, however, that this does require some initial assembly and adjustment and may not be everyone's preference.
You do not have to rely solely on a video for assembly instructions. The complete Cloak Mag Carrier User Guide is available on the product page under User Guide and can also be accessed directly here:
https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0881/4854/1726/files/cloak-mag-carrier-ug-08-24.pdf?v=1727114475
More importantly, if you're unhappy with the mag carrier, you certainly don't have to simply “eat the cost.” Your order is eligible for our 30-Day Test Drive, and you're welcome to return it if the design isn't right for you.
To begin your return, please visit:

Simply enter your AGH order number and email address and follow the prompts to complete the return request.
We appreciate your feedback regarding both the assembly process and overall thickness of the carrier, and we'll be happy to pass those comments along to our Product Development Team. We especially appreciate that feedback coming from someone who has used and recommended our products for many years.
Not a fan of the paddle for OWB, makes it stick out too far. Not a good concealed carry. The holster is made very nice though good quality. Too bad I'll never use it.
READ REVIEW IN IT’S ENTIRETY! This holster is NOT compatible with the newest update of the Glock 48. Although the product page states the holster does not work with an optic, it also does not iterate that it also will not accommodate the rail that Glock has updated the standard non-MOS G48 with. DO NOT attempt to use this on the newest standard G48’s with an accessory rail (including the non-MOS version) until the product is updated. It creates a dangerous situation where there is an overly tight retention (even with the retention unit entirely loosened) that could keep you from getting the firearm out. More concerning, contact between the rail of the firearm and the shell rotates the firearm inside of the holster’s trigger guard by multiple degrees tempting a possible accidental discharge upon holstering. Hopefully the trigger safety would prevent this but I’m personally unwilling to test that theory, especially in an appendix carry position.
With that being said, I have this holster for my G19 Gen 5 along with my S&W M&P 2.0 and love it. I also have multiple other iterations of the Cloak Tuck for multiple firearms and find them just as comfortable with a predictable and adjustable retention. Customer service for my issue was prompt and agreed (without an argument) to refund the entire order, including S&H and issued a shipping label for me to send the holster back due to the advertising confusion. I hope that the product will be updated to be compatible with the most recent G48 updates as I would love to purchase this again. I would also like to see a claw/wing that is optional to slightly rotate the handle inwards.
Thank you for the detailed feedback and for working with our Customer Service Team to troubleshoot the fitment issue you experienced with your Glock 48.
We appreciate you providing the photos and videos that allowed us to review the specific configuration. We're glad we were able to get the situation resolved for you with a full refund and return shipping.
We also appreciate you bringing the fitment concern with the newer Glock 48 configuration to our attention. Feedback like this helps us identify configurations that may require further review.
For anyone experiencing a similar fitment issue, we do not recommend forcing the firearm into the holster or modifying the holster. Please contact our Customer Service Team so we can review the specific firearm and holster configuration.
Thank you again for your continued support of Alien Gear and for giving us the opportunity to make this right.
Perfect fit for my Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm with the TLR-6 light. Easily fits for IWB concealed carry. Smooth removal and easy set up.
Works great the second time I bought it for my .9 mm Smith & Wesson.
Had an issue with fitment with an optic. Was corrected immediately and sent a new shell. Great customer service. Great to work with. This is my sixth purchase from alien gear.
