    Standard Clips

    $6.88
NOTE: Clips are not compatible with OWB holsters.

Our Standard Nylon Clips are made from a space-age material, which is not adversely affected by heat or cold. Each belt clip is crafted with a surprisingly strong glass-filled nylon. These belt clips won’t lose strength over time and have been thoroughly tested for durability. The Standard Clips are capable of being worn on belts between 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 inches wide. They are also fully covered by our Iron-Clad Triple Guarantee.

While many of our competitors cover their holster clips with logos, we keep ours free of fancy designs in order to keep our concealed carry holsters, well, concealed!

And unlike many our our competitors’ holsters, our clips are fully adjustable and capable of being swapped out for a variety of Alien Gear Holster clips. To adjust the cant (angle) and ride height of your handmade gun holster, simply relocate the super durable belt clips on each wing. These quick adjustments allow you to wear your holster from 0 to 15 degrees in either direction.

You’ll also notice how strong our standard nylon clips grip your belt. Once fastened onto your gun belt, our concealed carry holsters will stay put throughout the day. You’ll never need to worry about your holstered firearm drifting down your belt line over time. Once you clip it in place, it’s there for the long haul.

If you'd prefer the highest level of concealment on the planet, check out our 'C' Clips and 'J' Clips. These alternative clips are less visible to those around you and offer the same top-notch stability as the rest of our holster clips. Try them out for 30 risk-free days, and if you're not fully satisfied by the functionality of our holster clips, send them back for an easy refund or exchange.

We also offer premium leather loops, available in black or tan, as well as steel clips. Find these premium options here

I have had to replace the standard clip on my Cloak IWB 3.0 twice because of how they stretched. The last time, I was sent the updated clips and they are great! I have not had an issue with the clips stretching with these new versions of the clips. (Posted on 10/14/2016)

These clips are terrible! Only had them for a few months and they're already stretched out. My IWB holster keeps falling out with my gun in the holster! Not happy at all with this product and do not recommend to anyone who carries everyday. (Posted on 9/1/2016)

I was having the same problem as nimedic. I finally determined that the clips were made for a thinner belt than my 1/4" thick gun belt. The belt plus the thickness of my jeans spread the clips too far to where it wasn’t catching my belt properly.
I solved the problem by taking a 23/64" drill bit and putting it as far toward the top of the clip as I could and placing it all in my vice. I closed the vice until the bottom part of the clip was compressed about equal to the clip and drill bit, which kept the two sides of the clip parallel. I had a small piece of wood laying across the top of the vice under one end of the drill bit to keep it from moving down and I forced the clip down. Finally I heated the top part of the clip (around the bit) until it was moldable and pressed the clip down until it bottomed against the drill bit. I let the clip cool before removing it from the vice.
Now I can bend, squat, or whatever and the clips stay in position.
I just think that Alien needs to offer the clips in two sizes. One for regular belts and another for those of us that wear heavy duty gun belts that better fit those belts plus pants.
I’ve lost count, but I believe I now have 4/5 of their holsters and cannot say too much about their quality and comfort. I have a drawer full of other holsters and Alien is the best.
NOTE: The 23/64" drill is probably not optimum, but it looked right and I quit experimenting after that one worked. I wouldn’t quit using their holsters even if I had to make my own clips. (Posted on 8/3/2016)
Overall quality Review by Sarge H

I keep seeing how it's stated this is the best holster ever. Who said that's? With decent quality the holsters are constructed but......this holster is cumbersome and the clips inferior. With the price, I expected more. The clips fall off, the clips twist, the holster rides out, the holster has hung by one clip. I won't send it back and I won't make a big deal out of complaining. However, the clips need to be redesigned to work consistently, each time tasked. . Thanks
I am afraid at this time, I won't recommend this system to my friends or colleagues. (Posted on 8/3/2016)

I like the nylon / plastic / "space age material" clips.
I really like the steel clips which is what I originally purchased, but they scratch the crap out of any leather seat so that limits their use. But these nylon ones, they work pretty good. I've only had them for about 6 months and have used them on my IWB holster exclusively during that time. They have deflected a bit (taken a bent shape) probably because I'm a fat ass, but they have not broken or failed. they are long enough to go over a proper belt and hold firmly when drawing. Overall I like them a lot, I just think 7 bucks for plastic loops is high. (Posted on 7/30/2016)
Good But Room for Improvement Review by nimedic

I have used the clips on both of my AG IWB holsters for about 2 years now, and while I love the holsters, I have, on numerous occasions had one clip slip out from my 1 3/4" belt leaving my holstered weapon perilously hanging on by one clip. This failure happens mostly with a lot of bending at the waist, but, this is no excuse! I think AG should take a hard look at the design and material and come up with a better clip.
