Alien Gear Holsters' Belt Slide Attachment is designed for use with select Alien Gear Holsters' products, including the ShapeShift full-shell OWB holster and Cloak Mod OWB holster. If you don't prefer the paddle attachment, you can install this belt slide attachment for a more traditional OWB holster attachment method.
Please order the correct size for the belt that you intend to use with the holster or that you currently use on a daily basis. You have your choice of a belt slide for use with a 1.5-inch or 1.75-inch belt.
The belt slide has an extended and contoured "paddle" shape, similar to our other paddle holster attachment design. The benefit is that the contour wears comfortably against your side, so that the holster can be comfortably worn for extended periods.
The belt slide attachment bolts directly to the back of the Cloak Mod OWB Holster. To install on the belt, you simply thread the tail of your belt through the attachment, secure the holster in the desired location, and fasten your belt.
For use with the ShapeShift OWB Holster, the belt attachment can be bolted to the back of the detachable belt attachment just like normally and used. Or, if you prefer, you can remove the docking spline by disassembling the holster shells and undoing the mounting bolts, and bolting the belt slide directly to the back of the ShapeShift shell. Reassemble, then use as normal. This will get the ShapeShift holster closer to the body, for those who prefer a holster that rides close.
