The Cloak Tuck 3.5 IWB Holster’s base has evolved with customer feedback from the Cloak Tuck 3.0 and has several upgraded features from Alien Gear Holsters’ innovative designers.
The base is now backed with CoolVent™ neoprene that wicks moisture away from the body and is perforated for better airflow.
We are excited to incorporate our new clip design into this holster base. Adjusting your cant and ride height no longer requires tools; our twist and lock technology makes for the easiest and most convenient customizations.
This new clip design has another benefit. Screws and hardware are no longer required for fastening the clips, which means the holster base is smooth, uninterrupted, and more comfortable than ever.
To make absolute sure that the carrier is free of all irritations, the holster is carefully edge-bound with durable thread.
The layers of the Cloak Tuck 3.5 are very important to the integrity of the holster. Many competitor holster bases are made of leather and other materials that break in and wear down over time. This eventually obstructs the carrier’s draw and makes it unpredictable.
We built a patented steel core inside the holster to allow flexibility and just the right amount of rigidity, to maintain the structure of the holster and ensure a consistent draw.
Ballistic nylon is also built into the holster to provide lightweight durability. The top layer of the holster’s base, which faces the firearm, is still made with textured Alien Skin material, but now has an updated look.
