I have a few other Cloak Tuck Holsters from Alien Gear, which are about 8 years old. Though, the new holsters I bought are still comfortable, the craftsmanship has declined. Some of the stitching has frayed in the couple of weeks since I received them. the adjustable belt clips are loose and more fragile than the older clips. The retention was difficult to adjust. The holster cants my XD's grip out in a very odd way, even with the large grommets.
The packaging was horrendous! A clear plastic bag with 2 holsters shoved in it. My older holsters came individually packaged and wrapped. The mag carrier wasn't in any kind of packaging, the belt clips were clipped together and tossed in the shipping plastic bag.
Frankly, I'm disappointed in the quality and packaging of the holsters I purchased. I don't think I'll be buying Alien Gear holsters again.
This is my second one and just love it. comfortable, holds my weapon securely.
Bought this for my AREX zero 1 tactical , due to this being the only manufacturer that even listed my pistol as an option, pick up the holster on a promo code. So far I’m disappointed in this holster: for starters when the holster arrived I noticed that there wasn’t a pass through for the end of my threaded barrel so understanding that I need to file out a nice round hole for the pistol will most definitely void my warranty and possibly the return process I went ahead and filed it out. All that work to see if my pistol would fit in the holster. The holster is very uncomfortable, can’t ever get the perfect ride out of it, the clips are stiff to the point taking the holster off is a major pain. Look else where and get a better holster this holster is overpriced and over hyped. I’m only keeping it because it’s the only holster I have for my pistol

Purchased the P365XL a few months ago and at the time bought a similar holster to this one (cloak tuck) and after having the gun for a while now decided that I wanted to change the grip module to the Xmacro for a few reasons: long story short the holster I had purchased wouldn’t work with the new grip module setup and to make things more complicated the company I purchased the first holster from does not have a similar holster that would work for my new setup so began the search for a new holster. To my surprise there were not many to choose from in this particular style of holster that I wanted. The hybrid holsters I guess are not very popular but I like them over just a kydex only holster as I find them way more comfortable to wear all day, and to make things even more complicated I did not want one that was made with leather, but rather prefer the breathable synthetic material that rides against the body. After searching for a few days I found this one from Alien Gear and ordered it. It arrived in less than a week, my other one took 4 weeks to get. After comparing them side by side a few things immediately jump out at me. The first thing was the quality of the kydex material, much thicker and it covered more of the gun than my other holster did. The height/cant adjustment on the cloak tuck was well thought out and requires no tools which is a huge plus as it made figuring out what was comfortable super easy. The gun fit like a glove and it has been super comfortable to wear all day to the point that I don’t even notice it, which for most of us is super important, there is almost no “printing” whatsoever with tighter clothing, and none with loose shirts. Over all I’m very happy with my choice and purchase and will be returning to purchase another when needed. Thank you for making an outstanding product and your service.
