The ShapeShift paddle holster for Springfield XD Mod.2 3 inch Subcompacts in 9/40 is the product of thousands of hours of research and development, building every aspect of the holster to be controlled and customized by the gun owner.

ShapeShift holsters are modular. The Shift Shell may be disconnected from the OWB paddle holster and mounted on any of the available ShapeShift holster backers. Because of that, the paddle holster may be reconfigured into an OWB belt slide, classic IWB or appendix IWB holster.

The Shift Shell is made from premium injection-molded polymer — an immensely durable compound designed to withstand heavy use. This polymer is also used to make all the parts, pieces and clips in the modular system.

The injection-molding process creates a low-profile shell that will safely enclose the trigger guard.

The cant and retention are completely customizable. The holster's angle on the waistline can be changed in 12-degree increments up to 360 degrees. An adjustable retention unit can be installed to tighten or loosen the shell's passive retention. An active retention thumb release may also be installed, effectively making the ShapeShift a level II retention holster.

The ShapeShift OWB paddle holster will come with a holster mount that can be installed on compatible, secure surfaces like wood, drywall, plastic and sheet metal. By engaging the quick release, the holster shell can be taken off the waistline and securely stored on the mount in one seamless motion. The paddle holster can then be a car holster, bedside holster, nightstand holster — you get the idea.
