Collection: Low-Pro Holsters | Durable Low Profile Gun Holsters

Alien Gear LOW-PRO holsters include inside-the-waistband (IWB), outside-the-waistband (OWB), and belly band options. Each combines a firearm-specific molded shell with a different attachment system. Compare the carry methods below, then check the firearm and configuration options on the individual product page.

The LOW-PRO IWB places the holster inside the pants. Its user guide recommends wearing it behind the hip, above the back pocket.

The LOW-PRO OWB carries the firearm outside the pants. Concealing this design requires a shirt, sweater, or jacket that covers both the holster and firearm.

The LOW-PRO Belly Band supports the holster independently of a pants belt. Its wraparound band secures around the waist, providing an option for clothing without belt loops.

Firearm Fit and Compatibility

LOW-PRO holsters use molded shells selected for specific firearms. Match your handgun to the model and generation listed in the product’s options before ordering.

A fit listed for a standard handgun does not automatically include compatibility with a mounted light, laser, or optic. Confirm support for the complete firearm configuration, including accessories and modifications that affect its dimensions.

For the belly band, also check the sizing information for the band itself. Firearm fit and band fit are separate parts of selecting the correct holster.

Adjustable Passive Retention

Passive retention describes how firmly the holster grips the handgun. LOW-PRO holsters allow retention adjustment through the screws connecting the outer shell to the base.

Use the instructions for the specific IWB, OWB, or belly band model when checking fit and adjusting retention.

Low-Profile Holsters and Deep Concealment

A low-profile holster uses a slim design to limit the bulk added around the firearm. The handgun’s dimensions, holster position, and covering clothing also affect how much of its outline shows through clothing, commonly called printing.

When comparing deep concealment holsters, check the mounting system and supported carry position. A slim holster does not necessarily position the entire handgun below the waistband.

Ride height describes the firearm’s position relative to the waistband. Consider that separately from the holster’s thickness when comparing low-profile, low-ride, and below-the-waistband designs.
