Rapid Force® Level III Duty Holster

These are the best holsters if you need to draw fast and have great retention. As long as you don’t have a gen 5 model 22 it’s no man’s land.

Been using these holsters for many years under hard use, never failed me. When issues do present themselves the company without hesitation takes care of the issue. This is the standard.

Have the level 2 retention I cut to fit the sig p211 GTO. Please don't make me cut the 200$ rapid force level 3 for the GTO. I'm not the only one. Don't let Safari land corner the market.

Safety:
We conduct frequent use-of-force and weapon retention training, and these holsters have proven to be incredibly secure. Attempts to remove a weapon without proper release are nearly impossible. In contrast, our previous (very well-known, law enforcement–used) holsters were much easier to defeat during training scenarios. Even when officers understood how the retention system worked, they still struggled to defeat it under pressure. Officer safety is the most important factor in this industry, and Alien Gear absolutely delivered.

Compatibility:
Several of our officers run Shadow Systems XR920P pistols, and these holsters accommodated them without issue. That alone saved us from having to source multiple custom solutions, which is a major advantage.

I want to start by saying I am a civilian and I bought this for my gun belt. So far the holster has been fantastic I quickly learned the level 3 system. Fits great on my belt I am not a tall man I'm 5'5 and the way it shifts with a perfect fit for me. This holster fits my Glock 19 Gen 4 with the trijicon RCR and surefire x300 also my Glock 19 Gen 5 iron sights also my Glock 17 Gen 5 with a aim point acro and x300. I love the fact that it fits all my guns.

Mechanism is easy to use and train, yet difficult for others (those that are not the user) to remove the firearm. I just wish they had these for a Canik.

Alien Gear Holsters very well made priced right for the market on level 3 like them so well have 3 level 3 holsters now one for my Sig 320-M18 and G45 Glock, Sig 365 X Macro

I purchased a level 3 compact light holster for a P365 XMacro with a TLR-7 HL-X and optic (importantly, this is listed as a compatible weapon light). The holster has solid build quality and offers fantastic protection to the handgun and optic. Retention is solid and readily deactivated by the shooter.

Unfortunately, this protection does not extend to the weapon light. The longer barrel of the HL-X light extends about 1/16th of an inch beyond the holster body. You might not think this makes a substantial difference - neither did I, and one unfortunate drop onto concrete later and we are off to Streamlight for a new crossbolt.

I'm not certain this holster was designed with the TLR-7 HL-X in mind, even though it is listed as compatible. Fixing the problem would merely involve extending the pocket for the weapon light to the same length as the pocket for the slide, leaving me particularly frustrated with this design failure. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Overall - I LOVE this holster. The fit is great for my Glock 17 with extended, ported barrel, Holosun 509T and Streamlight TLR-HL. The draw is smooth with a natural thumb release. You do need to give a full press down to ensure the optic hood fully opens to clear the RDS.

The one issue I had was the extended magazine release on my Glock. The extended mag release would hit the edge of the holster if you applied any inward pressure to the butt of the grip (such as getting in and out of a patrol vehicle). Inward pressure on the butt would push the mag release into the holster and release the magazine. It fell out twice while I was getting out of my vehicle. I tried 3 different Glocks with 3 different extended magazine releases and they all hit the edge of the holster. I had to notch the holster to ensure the release no longer would touch the holster. No problems since notching.

Received my level 3 holster for the Sig 365 XMacro today, thank you Alien gear for making my purchase happen and fast shipping, this is my 3rd purchase of Alien gear holsters, definitely impressed with Alien gear products hope to get many years of use from this product, I’ve bought other brands of level 3 holsters, alien gear price is a little less expensive than the other brands I’ve purchased in the past.

Unbelievable, fix this asap

I’ve been using the Alien Gear Rapid Force Duty Holster and liked it so much that I ended up buying a second one. The retention is extremely secure while still giving me a smooth, natural draw once I got used to it, which really boosts my confidence carrying it day to day. It’s surprisingly comfortable for a duty holster, easy to adjust for a perfect fit, and the overall build quality feels rugged and well thought out, clearly made by people who understand real use.

I LOVE THIS HOLSTER!! I trust this holster!! A direct extension of my hand, enabling me to trust my ability to quickly and safely draw my pistol if ever there is a need. The quality is top notch!!! All Aces!!

Holster is fine. Does it fit a gun? Yes. Does it fit my preformance center m&p 2.0 carry comp with RMR HD and X300? No. The only reason im giving this three stars is because how fast the service department was on the phone telling me it woulf fit this holster then after receiving the holster their service department telling me that although their website says it'll fit a carry comp gun they dont actually work well.

Please make a level 3 retention holster for the sig p365. You’d be the only ones who’d be offering that….. big win on your end if you think about it.

LOVE it! Super comfortable and EXTREMELY smooth draw and holster. Always been a Safariland guy... Until now.

This is a good holster and I like it a lot. But, had an issue at first. SIG makes a couple of different "takedown levers" for the P320. My current takedown lever didn't work. Swapped it with the takedown lever that came with the P320; no issues. But, I liked the takedown lever I had on my P320. So, I got my "Dremel" out; shaved some of the plastic off to make my takedown lever work.
