The Cloak Chest Holster for Smith & Wesson SD40 VE and SD9 VE is purpose-built for outdoor carry where comfort, access, and retention matter most. Whether you're hiking, trail riding, fishing, or hunting in remote terrain, this chest-mounted holster keeps your firearm ready without restricting your waistline or pack straps.
Engineered for backcountry mobility, the Cloak Chest Holster uses a rugged nylon harness with fully adjustable straps, fitting comfortably over jackets or base layers. The body-facing side features our CoolVent™ neoprene lining to help wick moisture and reduce heat buildup during long treks or warm-weather conditions.
The custom-molded retention shell is precision-fit to your SD series pistol, offering secure holstering and passive retention that you can dial in to your preferred draw strength. With a 45-degree forward cant, this holster leverages natural ergonomics and gravity for smooth, quick access when you need it most.
The shell and harness system are tough enough for full-size pistols like the Smith & Wesson SD9 VE, ensuring dependable performance when conditions are less than ideal. Ideal for those building out their Smith & Wesson holster or chest holster collection, this rig offers field-ready reliability.

5-Year Limited Warranty (Excluding Rapid Force and sewn products which carry a 3 year)
All Alien Gear Holsters products are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under regular use for five years from the original purchase date (excluding Rapid Force product lines and sewn parts, that will carry a three-year manufacturer warranty and will not include misuse or abuse). During this warranty period, we will repair or replace, at our option, any defective product or part. This warranty covers only the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable. You must provide proof of purchase to obtain warranty service and any photographic evidence that displays the issue.
This warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, abuse, improper installation, or unauthorized repair or modification. It also excludes incidental or consequential damages and does not apply to any third-party purchases made in-store or through the online marketplace.

This warranty covers only the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, abuse, improper installation, or unauthorized repair or modification. This warranty excludes incidental or consequential damages. This warranty is not applicable to any third-party purchases made in-store or through the online marketplace.
For international customers, this warranty remains valid, but additional considerations apply:
- International shipping costs for warranty claims are the responsibility of the customer.
- Customs fees, duties, and taxes for international shipments are not covered under this warranty and must be paid by the customer.
- Due to varying international regulations, some warranty services may be limited or unavailable in certain countries.
- Warranty claims for international orders may require additional processing time.
- Alien Gear Holsters reserves the right to offer alternative solutions for international warranty claims, such as refunds or store credit, in cases where shipping or regulatory issues prevent standard warranty fulfillment.
