Awesome buy! Got one for my Glock and now for my P320. Both feel perfect
I ordered this from amazon for the Sig Fuse. The seller was alien gear. The holster was advertised as including paddle attachment and IWB clip and claw. It only came with the paddle. I mainly wanted the IWB clip but tried the paddle. It would not clip well to a thin groove life belt and the holster came out with the draw. I liked the streamlined look of the holster and was going to try and get the clip somehow. However, I noticed the finish of my pistol had slight marks/scratches beginning. I examined the inside of the holster and noticed ridges with extremely sharp points exactly corresponding to the scratches. The ridges were apparently for giving some rigidity but there is absolutely no reason for sharp edges facing in towards the firearm on a holster. Yes, I know Sig is not known for great finishes, but I don’t think any company’s finish would hold up to these ridges for any length of time and use. I returned the holster to Amazon.

I bought the Photon for My Ultralight II. So far I Love everything about it. The size, The Retention, The ability to adjust it to fit your specific needs is awesome. Add to that, The Photon Backer, and once again Alien Gear has outdone themselves! I just wish they made a Photon Holster that fit My Staccato CS.
I could share a photo of how many holsters I own and how they are all in the same pile😂… NOT this one.This one stays loaded and goes everywhere with me. This is the FIRST one I wear that I don’t even bother taking off when I get in the truck! To say I love it is an understatement. Great work guys!
I had been looking for a few holsters for my Springfield Armory Prodigy. But not everyone had any for my gun at the time. I did some research on Google, YouTube, etc. And came across Alien Gear one day. As soon as I checked out their website on their homepage i saw the Photon holster for 2011's. I saw that it looked sturdy and the design was more or less on par for what I was looking for in a holster. The price point wasn't bad either, so I thought, let me give them a shot. I was not disappointed at all. I love my holster. Being a bigger guy I carry at the 3 o'clock and 4 o'clock positions. It performs beautifully. I like that im able to change from iwb to owb as well. Pleasantly surprised when i saw they make the photon for other guns as well like glock, s&w, etc. It's comfortable and affordable which is what I like. The materials are beefy and i can see myself using this holster for years to come.
It’s been 5 working days and my order still hasn’t shipped yet smh and I was hoping to have it by Saturday and it’s currently Wednesday. The 1-3 day shipping is false on the ready to ship items.
The Photon holster is a good idea with little or no practical applications. I was hoping for a holster that would be convertible from IWB to OWB and more importantly be a secure weapon retention system. I set up the Photon holster for my P365 with optics as an OWB with 2 screws. The paddle appears okay, however I could never get the retention to work appropriately. Either it was too sloppy (firearm rattled around in the holster) or too tight to effectively draw it. That, in my opinion is a deal breaker. Granted, I heard a click when inserting the weapon. But my firearm rattled in the plastic shell. Every step, a rattle. Sorry Alien Gear, I’m incredibly disappointed with this product. Guess I will lick my wounds and move onto a better quality holster. What a shame, it sounded excellent on paper.

Been carrying my P365 with this holster for 3 years now. Never had any issues with retention and concealment/printing. Pretty comfortable for someone who carries IWB, strong-side and a little on the bigger side. Highly recommend this holster if in the market.
Love it! Perfect fit. My pistol has raised front and rear sights to work with my optic.
So far ive been using this holster as an every day carry, and for work. My first impression, I like how the holster doesn't feel, cheap it's low profile, and the carry options that it comes with right out of the box.
Im currently running a streamlight tlr-1hl and the retention, and fit is beyond great. Additionally I really like how we'll this holster conceals a full size glock 17 gen 5. Comfortable, is great.
S&w shield plus Does not hold gun tight with adjustment screws all the way tight gun will move if I bend down I can feel the gun shift in the holster afraid it will fall out had it a week and rubber bushings already coming apart. Only positive was it looks great
So I purchased this holster for a Glock 19 with a radian ramjet, the firearm fits perfectly but the Surefire x300 sticks out of the holster about a 1/4 of an inch. Also the retention isn’t the best even with the screws tightened down really tight. When it’s in my pants my belt gives it enough retention to stay in the holster. But it’s still a really good holster and I’m overall happy with my purchase.
Fit my G19 Gen 5 great. Nice snug fit. Came with different belt clips. Mounts to either side. Can be worn inside waistband. Or outside waistband. Nice product. I recommend!
Got my photon holster for my shadow systems mr920 ( G19 clone ) and it fits beautifully. It didn’t specify that my streamlight TLR-7X would fit, only the 7A but it fit perfectly anyway. I was worried originally about the retention but the retention is really good. Overall the holster is one of the best I’ve bought. 10/10 alien gear, good job!
This is my second photon holster (The first was for my X Macro). The holster is well made, fits the firearm well, and is a sturdy material. I love the ability to swap between an OWB and IWB, and not have to buy 2 seperate holsters.
I ordered a Photon holster for PSA Dagger Compact and got one for Glock 19. They are not the same thing. Dagger is wider and sticks in the holster and I literally had to take the holster apart to get my pistol back out. Doesn't this manufacturer know that the PSA Dagger is wider than the Glock 19? If you are selling Glock 19 holsters in place of PSA Dagger Holsters, Shame on you as yes, the Dagger is a 19 clone, but it's NOT the same pistol. Glock 19 is 1.26 inches wide where the Dagger is 1.28 inches wide. I had to back out the screws all the way in order to un-holster my pistol.
