Built for open carry, training, or range use, this outside-the-waistband holster provides the strength and adaptability demanded by 1911 owners.

At its core, the Cloak Mod is reinforced with a spring-steel flex plate, offering firm structural support while flexing naturally with your movement. This design ensures the holster can comfortably handle the weight of full-size Ruger 1911 models while maintaining stability for the Commander-length SR1911CMD. The curved paddle attachment fits securely against the body, and the integrated retention lip resists shifting or unwanted removal during daily wear.

For added versatility, the paddle mount easily converts to a belt slide attachment, allowing you to choose between two OWB carry methods without needing a separate holster. The custom-molded retention shell is designed specifically for the Ruger 1911 lineup, locking the pistol in place with a crisp retention click while enabling a smooth, consistent draw. Combined with the thermos-elastomer retention membrane, the holster provides both security and fast access when needed.

5-Year Limited Warranty (Excluding Rapid Force and sewn products which carry a 3 year)

All Alien Gear Holsters products are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under regular use for five years from the original purchase date (excluding Rapid Force product lines and sewn parts, that will carry a three-year manufacturer warranty and will not include misuse or abuse). During this warranty period, we will repair or replace, at our option, any defective product or part. This warranty covers only the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable. You must provide proof of purchase to obtain warranty service and any photographic evidence that displays the issue. Alien Gear Holsters reserves the right to offer alternative solutions for warranty claims.

This warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, abuse, improper installation, or unauthorized repair or modification. It also excludes incidental or consequential damages.

For international customers, this warranty remains the same as above, but additional considerations apply. International shipping cost are the responsibility of the customer. Customs, duties and other fees are not covered under this warranty. Some warranty services may be limited or unavailable in certain countries.

This warranty covers only the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable. You must provide proof of purchase to obtain warranty service and any photographic evidence that displays the claimed defect. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, abuse, improper installation, or unauthorized repair or modification. This warranty excludes incidental or consequential damages. This warranty is not applicable to any third-party purchases made in-store or through the online marketplace.

For international customers, this warranty remains valid, but additional considerations apply:

International shipping costs for warranty claims are the responsibility of the customer.
Customs fees, duties, and taxes for international shipments are not covered under this warranty and must be paid by the customer.
Due to varying international regulations, some warranty services may be limited or unavailable in certain countries.
