I’ve had this holster for 9 years, I’ve used others, I keep coming back to this! Honestly nothing compares to how this one is made!!
I own an alien gear holster for every pistol I own. I've carried my full size Hk Vp9 for 15 hours driving and literally forgot it was there. I've also carried them hiking, camping, fishing and hunting and they are always comfortable even after hours of walking. Best holster on the market, hands down. I only carry IWB too, so for me to forget I'm carrying a full sized pistol, that means alot!
Overall this holster is very comfortable. Im trying to find the best belt to pair With it at the moment, love the fact I can tuck my shirt in which I have to do at work and my p365xl completely disappears. Reason for drop in a star is the fitment of the firearm though it definitely isn't going to fall out im jot a fan of it being able to rock back and forth while completely seated.

The slight movement you're describing can typically be corrected by adjusting the holster's retention to better match your preference. Instructions for adjusting the retention are included in the Cloak Tuck 3.5 IWB User Guide, which you can access here:

This upgrade from the 2.0 has been really great. Even going from a s&w m&p 9c to a full size kimber 1911 and thanks to the quality and design it is a comfortable fit.
I own several brands of very good holsters, but they've sat in my drawer since I got my Glock 19 Cloak Tuck 3.5 IWB, along with an extra shell for another model. It is the most comfortable I've ever had and many times I don't even realize I'm wearing it. It's retention is perfect and also very easy to conceal & quick draw. Also built very well and has lasted without a problem for a couple years. Sounds like I'm an Alien Gear employee, but I'm not. I am a very satisfied customer!
They sent the wrong plastic and I’m hoping they will return it and send me the right one. I have carried in a alien gear for almost 10 years my old in a tuck

However, based on the size and design of the shell, there is a possibility that this particular configuration may not be compatible, and we may not have a modification or fix that will resolve the issue.

First order was the wrong shell. No problem, mistakes happen. Emailed them and they sent out the correct shell. The replacement looks like it was melted with a torch, then put on the mold that had rocks and dirt all over it. After being formed it looks like it was slid across the mold and smeared the inside. The outside is wavy and horrible looking. The edges are all really sharp and unfinished with burrs of the plastic still hanging off. The bottom where the barrel end and flashlight is has giant grooves from whatever sander was used to sand it, giant burrs of plastic still hanging off. Sent another email to them and instead of a person this time I received and email from an automated bot telling me to start a return, which I have to pay shipping for and then wait until they process it to determine if I will be refunded. UPDATED 7-9-26 : I was contacted by Angie via email yesterday and was told that the bot response is supposed to just help with simple issues. She saw it and I was immediately contacted, apologized to and issued not only a refund but a replacement shell was shipped out for free as well. As far as making things right, she went way above and beyond the return and refund I was asking for. I'm really looking forward to getting the new shell and being able to start carrying with it.

You are correct — based on your description, that shell should not have passed inspection or been sent out. We apologize for the oversight and for the frustration this caused, especially after your original order had already required a correction.
The automated return response was not the level of assistance this situation needed. Since this issue was on our end, we would absolutely waive the return shipping fee if you would prefer to return the holster.
If you would rather keep the holster, we would also be happy to send a new replacement shell at no cost to you.

Holster is not the quality i was expecting. after only having for two weeks the stitching is coming part around it and i have hardly drawn the weapon. the pad is not lined up with the gun as if the kydex part was in the wrong spot and angle. the trigger gaurd does not cover the trigger all the way and doesnt seem to have a great "fit" for the gun. will be sending back

We do not mold to cover the trigger completely on this holster as it has a 'combat cut' which refers to a design where the leather backing is trimmed away from behind the firearm's grip area, leaving leather only behind the frame and slide. This modification allows for easier and faster grip access, enabling a secure 'master grip' and smoother draw by eliminating the obstruction of leather between the hand and the weapon.

My second Cloak Tuck because the first was so comfortable. Great design, quality construction. However, customer support leaves something to be desired. I asked if the holster was able to accommodate a red dot sight, and support said no.However, I mounted the sight, and it fit fine.
Fits my gun. Added the adjuster shim cylinders.. and its kinda tight.i am fat tho so that doesnt help. Wished I chose a different color....but they arent free so.. I have the same style for my remington R1 enhanced 1911 and it fits better than my rugar max 9 its just not as easy to carry because it weighs 9000 lbs (not really but still).... 4/5 because the colors arent free except black.
First iwb holster I love it very comfortable wish I would of got one a long time ago
The Cloak tuck I picked up for a Springfield Echelon 4.0c comp is my 3rd Alien gear IWB holster. Like the others it is comfortable and becomes more so as it forms to your body. Like most gun owners I have a drawer full of ones I don't use. The Cloak tuck is one of my most used concealment holsters due to its ease of adjustment, comfort, and affordability. It is the first of only two IWB holsters I recommend for people to try before any other. I've conceal carried firearms for over 20 years and have tried most holsters on the market. Alien gear is one of the best.

New design change on slide pin closed now that makes unnecessary wear on holster and gun, look for other brand as alien won't help with a straight through design as before.
I like how the holster fits. Even tho it seems big it is very comfortable can’t even tell it is on. I have same style for my 9mm so that is why I picked this one. The only issue that I have is the gun does not fit the firearm tight. I did tighten the screws which helped hold it in but the firearm moves side to side and is really loose. Other than that I love the holster.
Well, after 11 years, 5 months, 4 days of daily carry my Original Cloak shell cracked. Seems some epoxy would have fixed it but I wanted something new. Looked at other holsters and kept coming back to Alien Gear. Put a Cloak 3.5 in the cart and waited for the delivery. The 3.5 is a nice upgrade to the original. The J Hooks are mounted solid and hold on to the belt very well. Easy to reposition too. The backing is great and very comfortable against the skin. If this one makes it 11 and a half years, I will be buying another Cloak for my daily carry.
Great holster,adjustable belt hooks are great. Adjustable retention is also easy to adjust. The non-sweat backing is great (I'm in FL. My EDC is a Glock19 Gen 5. Always love Alien Gear products... worth the extra few bucks!!
I’ve had multiple cloak tuck IWB, this is the only one i wasn’t satisfied with. My previous two have a lot of customizability allowing for different canters or angles to the shell where this one is a static position. Granted both others are compacts and this is a full size, so maybe that accounts for the angle, but the pistol sits at a really inconvenient angle for the right handed draw on this one and no matter where I wear it, or position the belt clips I just can’t compensate for the way the grip sits. In appendix I have to t-rex my wrist all up to get over and around the grip, around the back at a 5/6 o’clock it sits just as awkwardly but in the rear. The shell fit is pretty good, no rubbing or tight spots that even needed adjust from the factory. Stitching had a couple spots that looked like they wandered a bit, but nothing missing a stitch. Overall the product quality is still solid, just design wise on this one isn’t hitting the mark. And maybe it’s just my use case. Either way this one’s going on the shelf.
Honestly, The Alien Gear IWB holster is comfortable. You can’t tell you are wearing a holster.
