Nuts and bolts can easily go missing, which is why it's a good idea to keep spare hardware on hand...which is why it's also a good idea to a have few extra ShapeShift twist locks in case one drops somewhere and goes missing. It's also not the worst idea to have one to adjust the passive retention if so desired.
