SIG P320 XCompact Holster Compatibility Overview
All holsters in this collection are fitted specifically to the SIG Sauer P320 XCompact, a striker-fired, modular, polymer-frame compact pistol chambered in 9mm Luger and manufactured by SIG Sauer, Inc. in Newington, New Hampshire. Before selecting a holster, verify your firearm matches the following core specifications that define this fit.
The SIG P320 XCompact measures 7.0 inches in overall length, 5.3 inches in height, and 1.3 inches in width. The barrel is 3.6 inches. Unloaded weight is 25.3 ounces. The pistol features a striker-fired action, an optics-ready slide with a factory optic cut, X-Ray3 day/night sights, and an M1913 Picatinny accessory rail forward of the trigger guard.
The XCompact is produced in two primary configurations: the standard production model with a black Nitron slide and polymer XCompact grip module, and the XCompact Spectre from SIG Custom Works, which features an individually distressed Cerakote slide, laser-engraved grip module, and skeleton trigger.
Both configurations share the same external frame and slide dimensions. The surface differences between the standard and Spectre variants do not alter the holster fit profile. Holsters in this collection are compatible with both configurations where external dimensions match those listed above.
Several important fit boundaries apply to this collection. The P320 XCompact uses a dedicated XCompact grip module with a 3.6-inch barrel and a fastback grip profile. The P320 Compact and the P320 M18 are separate configurations that use different grip modules and a 3.9-inch barrel, resulting in different external dimensions.
Holsters fitted to the XCompact are not confirmed compatible with the standard P320 Compact or the M18 and should not be assumed to fit those variants.
The XCompact includes an M1913 Picatinny accessory rail. Holsters in this collection are sized to the standard XCompact profile without a rail-mounted accessory. Compatibility with a mounted weapon light or laser is not confirmed and should not be assumed without verification against a light-specific holster model.
How to Choose the Right Alien Gear Holster for the SIG P320 XCompact
Selecting the correct holster depends on your carry environment, your clothing, and how frequently the holster needs to go on and off. The XCompact's 7.0-inch overall length and 1.3-inch width place it in a size range where both concealed and open carry configurations are practical for most users, and at 25.3 ounces unloaded, it carries well across multiple configurations when properly supported.
For concealed daily carry, the Cloak Tuck 3.5 IWB Holster positions the XCompact inside the waistband, close to the body.
The tuckable design allows carry under a tucked shirt for deeper concealment when needed. Adjustable ride height and cant allow placement to be tuned for your body type and draw preference. A quality gun belt is recommended at this weight to keep the holster stable and distributed comfortably through the day.
For range sessions, training, or open carry, the OWB paddle holster and belt holster both provide stable retention outside the waistband. The paddle holster clips on and off without threading through belt loops, making it a practical choice for range days or situations where the holster is put on and removed frequently.
The belt holster provides a more fixed carry position suited to extended range use or structured open carry.
For outdoor and field carry where waist access is obstructed by a pack hip belt, seated position, or terrain, the chest holster positions the XCompact across the sternum. Weight is distributed across the shoulders, which makes this configuration more comfortable for extended backcountry carry than a hip-mounted option when the waist is occupied by other equipment.
For tactical training or duty-adjacent environments where body armor or load-bearing equipment covers the hip, the swivel drop leg holster positions the XCompact below the belt line. The swiveling mount supports a consistent draw angle during movement and gear transitions. This is not a concealed carry configuration.
Carry Styles Supported by This Collection
The following holster types are available in this collection for the SIG P320 XCompact.
The Cloak Tuck 3.5 IWB Holster is the inside-the-waistband option in this lineup. Molded from Boltaron polymer to the XCompact's exact frame and slide profile, it is designed for concealed carry with a tuckable attachment, adjustable cant, and user-adjustable retention.
The OWB paddle holster attaches outside the waistband via a paddle insert for quick on-and-off access without belt removal. It is suited to range use, training days, and open carry where removal speed matters.
The belt holster loops directly onto a belt for a fixed outside-the-waistband carry position. It provides stable, consistent holster placement during extended range sessions or open carry use.
The swivel drop leg holster mounts the XCompact on the thigh below the belt line via a swiveling attachment. It is designed for tactical training and environments where belt-line carry is obstructed by equipment. It is not a concealed carry configuration.
The chest holster positions the XCompact across the sternum for field and outdoor carry when waist carry is not practical. It suits hiking, ATV operation, hunting, and remote work environments where the waist is obstructed or inaccessible.
Common Fit or Selection Mistakes to Avoid
Assuming the P320 Compact or P320 M18 fits the same holster as the XCompact is the most common selection error for this platform. The P320 Compact and M18 both use a 3.9-inch barrel and a different grip module than the XCompact.
These result in a different external profile at the muzzle end and along the grip, making them incompatible with holsters sized to the XCompact's 3.6-inch barrel and fastback grip geometry.
Assuming higher-capacity P320 magazines do not affect holster fit is worth clarifying. The XCompact is compatible with extended P320 magazines that protrude below the grip. These magazines do not affect holster fit at the shell level, as retention is determined by the frame and trigger guard geometry, not magazine length.
However, an extended magazine protruding below the grip may affect draw clearance in some holster designs.
Using a standard XCompact holster with a rail-mounted weapon light is not a confirmed compatible configuration. The Picatinny rail accepts compact lights, but holsters in this collection are sized to the bare pistol profile. A light-bearing holster specific to the light and pistol combination is required for on-body carry with a mounted light.
Selecting a drop leg holster for daily concealed carry misapplies that product. The swivel drop leg holster is designed for tactical training and equipment-heavy environments. It is not appropriate for civilian daily concealed carry.
When This Collection May Not Be the Right Fit
This collection is sized and molded to the SIG P320 XCompact's specific external dimensions. Pistols that do not match the specifications described in the compatibility overview may not fit correctly or retain safely in these holsters.
The P320 Compact, P320 M18, P320 XCarry, and P320 XFive all use different barrel lengths, grip modules, or slide profiles that distinguish them from the XCompact. Holsters in this collection are not confirmed compatible with any of those variants and should not be assumed to fit them.
If your carry requirement involves a rail-mounted weapon light, holsters in this collection are not confirmed to accommodate that configuration. A light-bearing holster built around your specific light and pistol pairing is required.
If your intended use is vehicle-mounted or stationary storage rather than on-body carry, this collection does not include products designed for that application.
