Details & Specs
This holster is very comfortable and conceals very well under my sport coats and hoodies. I carry a Glock 19 with Holosun optics and a streamlight TLR-7HLX. My only complaint is that the ride height isn't adjustable. This holster rides a little high which makes the assembly top-heavy, allowing the top of the firearm to lean away from my body more than I'd like. I wear a leather belt and feel that a rigid carry belt might help with that issue. I plan to get a good carry belt and am anxious to see if that helps. If the ride height would have been adjustable, I'd have given 5 stars.

So far it’s pretty good. It’s not as concealable as I thought it would be, but it’s not bad. I think a review of the product a year from now would be more fair.

Super comfortable and conceals well. Weapon fits perfect
I would have given it 5 stars, but it sacrificed easy reholstering for comfort. The body side of the gun sleeve is the neoprene like fabric, and the outer side is the kydex. I couldn't use mine if I wanted to qualify on a course, but it's great for EDC.

Had to return it… Glock 17 barrel is too long for holster design… just FYI the backer from the shapeshift for Glock 23 is the perfect size it’s just not for OWB

For clarification, the Glock 17 and Glock 23 do not share the same shell mold. While some Glock models are compatible with the same shell, the compatible models for this particular mold are the Glock 19(X), Glock 23 Gen 5, Glock 25, Glock 32, Glock 38, and Glock 45. Because the Glock 17 uses a different mold, fitment and barrel clearance will differ.

I have a box full of holsters I have bought and tried. Some good, some not good some really good. This has been chosen for everyday carry for over.a year. Comfortable, easy to use, gun fits securely, a really simple but smart design. Nice to mm put it on and not think about it all day. I did put one washer under each belt strap **** to give a little space to my belt so I can slide it 1 inch forward to get to my wallet in my back pocket and one I inch backward to get to my keys in my front pocket. Great holster. Wear it everyday.
I pray that you do not continue the cloak line. it is by far the best in holding and provides the best comfort by far than any kydex or leather holster.

This is a great OWB holster for the slim framed Hi Power pistol. All of my holsters OWB and IWB are Alien gear holsters. I have tried others but they do not have the good, adjustable, fit that Alien Gear has. The backing on all of these holsters covers the gun and will protect clothes and skin.

I like the neoprene and this is my second holster first one bought quite a few years ago and I feel the price point is a little high for what looks like plastic that was just melted with a torch. I dont know I was just a little disappointed when I opened it.

We understand that the shell may look different from the one on your older holster. The shell is thermoformed specifically for the firearm configuration it is designed to accommodate; it isn't simply plastic that has been melted or shaped with a torch. The forming process can result in a different appearance than some of our older shell designs while still providing the proper fit and retention for the firearm.

I do not have a reddot on this pistol and this holster is cutout for the red dot. I was not given a choice for red dot cut or not.
In addition, the screws holding the holster and belt loops are cheap, and do not have the wide base ALL of my many other Alien holsters have.
I would not buy another holster from Alien if this is the direction of the quality going downhill rapidly. Because of this cut, my pistol rocks around in the barely there holster and does NOT feel secure.

The optic clearance is incorporated into the current shell design, so there isn't a separate optic/non-optic selection for this holster. You do not need to have a red dot installed to use it.
The hardware used on our current Cloak Series may also look different from the hardware on some of your older Alien Gear holsters. A difference in hardware design or appearance, however, does not mean that lower-quality hardware was used.
More importantly, your Cloak Belt Holster is specifically molded for the firearm selected and features adjustable passive retention. Your Smith & Wesson CSX should be securely retained, and the excessive movement you're describing is something we would want the opportunity to review rather than have you continue carrying a holster you don't feel is secure.
Please contact our Customer Service Team with your order number and, if possible, photos or a short video demonstrating the movement. We'd be happy to review the fitment and determine what may be occurring.

The previous Alien Gear holster I purchased for my P239 was of all leather construction. This was at least ten years ago. The new holster is completely different and is much more rigid and seems to handle the weight of the P239 better. It is going to take more time to "break in" this holster but I think it is going to be an even more comfortable than the old one. Not that I ever had a problem, just that Alien Gear has improved on the original concept. I have always recommended this holster to others.

The holster fits well staying close to the waist not revealing my Glock 43X while wearing a loose fitting shirt over it. It’s reasonably comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase.
