We understand your concern regarding the trigger coverage. The design you are seeing is intentional and is known as a 45-degree combat cut. This design angles the top of the holster away from the grip, allowing for a quicker, more natural master grip on the firearm during the draw while still maintaining full trigger guard protection where it matters.
Although the upper portion of the trigger area is more exposed to improve accessibility, the trigger itself remains protected by the holster and is not accessible while the firearm is properly holstered.

Very well made, good attention to detail. Ships with some extra hook and loop so you can attach it as needed.
However, this DOES NOT fit an Eberlestock Bando Bag. Some of the model photos seem like that's the demo, but it is extremely difficult or impossible to zip

I just wanted to tell you how impressed I am with this side carry bag. I own multiple bags from a variety of makers. By far this is the best one. It’s very thought out and for my needs it’s the perfect size. My EDC isn’t the most compact and it constantly evolves.
I really like the full holster, Two of my other bags I use a trigger guard style, so for a quick deployment it isn’t ideal. The attention to detail is what I’m most impressed with. To some people it maybe not a big deal. I love the Velcro straps on the adjustment strap. I was about to grab one of my old belt keepers then notice the straps. Small but but awesome feature and shows how well this was thought out.
The foot print of this holster is to big to fit in wife's center console her truck. The velcro backer is bigger then it needs to be.

Holster appears made with high quality materials and has solid retention. It shipped fast and came with additional spacers for a custom fit. 3 stars because the trigger well doesn’t have full coverage. Not that I’m in the habit of having objects around my holster, I don’t like that there is space for something to get in there, especially with my light trigger. I don’t feel comfortable carrying w/OITC with it, so probably won’t use it.
I purchased a hook and loop holster years ago for a base Glock 19 (center item in the picture) and a pancake holster too. They were both formed well with clean lines, had the brand embossed at the top, and , more importantly, the gun make that it went to was on there. I just order 2 shells to replace the old one since I have optics and lights now. What arrived was some basic quality lured that I would expect from a Chinese holster on Amazon. And to prove the point, you can see the serial number to the gun that they used to mold the shell on. The interior of the shell is riddled with bumps and boils from them using poor molding methods. Very dissatisfied and generally disappointed. This might not have been my first purchase from AlienGear, but it is definitely my last.

Had bought another one for a different gun and this version is far, far better. No more half dozen screws and specialized keys to adjust tension. Straight out of the bag it fit my Hellcat perfectly. Either it's because it's made for a different gun but it's defnitely easier to manage than the one I got for my Kimber Micro

I have quite a few IWB holsters from Alien gear. All work really well. But sometimes I get tired of "dressing to the gun". This bag allows me to grab and go when needed/wanted.
Holds the G19 and another full mag with no issues. Enough room for glasses and phone charger to boot. At first the velcro feels like its not going to hold firmly enough, but once the holster settles in to the contact pad, it holds just fine when drawing...just need to adjust the retention as usual.
The overall holster is great the shell was the wrong one. When I first bought alien gear Holsters it was very straight forward but now the website is hard to navigate and find the right shell

I purchased the cloak hook and loop holster to use with my crossbody carry bag and the Velcro does not properly secure the holster inside of the bag.
it is a perfect fit for my Sig w/RDS. The Velcro landing pads make it very easy to relocate my holster from my vehicle, to my briefcase, desk, etc. The adhesive on the landing pads is super sticky. Once the pads are in place they are super secure.

My original order was for my wife’s Ruger LC380. Unfortunately, the shell I received was for a 1911 (per the packing slip) and does not accommodate her EDC.

Adjustable to make it fit and confotable so far. Weight on the glock 22 works well with the bag, does not pull or seem bullky.
I really like the Holster but the carry bag I received with it was not up to my expectations.
