Details & Specs
The pistol fit fine. The shell i replaced it with had the counter sunk holes for the screws, had a lot of detail, more defined. This one looks like a knock off, screws sit out since they are supposed to be counter sunk. I have several holster from here, this one didn't seem like they made it or rushed it. Hopefully this is not a sign that they are going down hill.
Thank you for your feedback! We wanted to clarify what you're seeing between your original shell and the replacement you received.
Your original shell was one of our injection-molded shells, which is why it has more molded-in detail as well as the recessed/countersunk screw holes. Your replacement shell is not injection molded and is the style used for approximately 95% of our Cloak Shells. The difference in appearance is simply due to the different manufacturing processes and is not an indication that the replacement was rushed or improperly made.
We can also see in your photo that you're currently using the flat-head screws from your original injection-molded shell on the new shell. Those screws were designed to sit down inside the countersunk holes on your original shell, which is why they appear to stick out when used with the replacement.
For your new shell, you'll want to use the “Screw, Button Head Hex Drive 8-32 x 0.500 (1/2 in)” screws instead. The button-head screws are designed for this style of shell and will sit properly against the surface rather than sticking out as the flat-head screws currently do.

Owning several AlienGear holsters and satisfied in the past I feel that the fitment on the S&W Bodyguard 2 is not what I expected from AG. The shell did not have countersunk holes as previous ones and the countersunk screws stick up over the shell. The included one gromet works fine but that left 3 sticking up. The main reason for the 3 stars is the way the gun magazine eject button sits up against the cloak backing making it possible to unintentionally eject the mag. (see pictures) Support said that this is no problem and that is how it is designed. I still have concerns, maybe I'm paranoid but I guess we will see how it goes.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the Bodyguard 2.0 shell. Not every holster in our lineup utilizes an injection-molded shell with countersunk hardware. Those shells were produced for a limited number of our highest-volume firearm models, representing only a small portion of our overall firearm library. As a result, hardware configuration may vary depending on the specific firearm model.

Superb, fits my weapon & easily replaced my old shell.
I ordered this under a warranty. I only paid for shipping. This was a painless, quick and easy process to get my holster straightened out. This will be 10 years old in a few months and I have carried it for about 9 and ½ of those. I love these holsters! I need them to bring back the metal belt clips for the IWB holsters. easy to update on my existing backer, and affordable upgrade for my new gun. I have a compensator on my P X MACRO so i had to shave off a bit of the tip holster. now fits perfect

Plastic feels cheap compared to my old shell. The mounting holes are not countersunk. The screws stick out instead of recessing into the shell.
This would be my seventh AG purchase. I find the cloak tuck to be the most comfortable and secure IWB holster I have tried. I also own a shape shift. I give it a solid OK. It just seems a little flimsy. The other type holster I own is the OWB, I utilize with the paddle configuration. The OWB is solid and easily put on and removed. The OWB also offers good weapons retention. As a retired Police Officer, firearms and Academy instructor, I have a little experience in that area. My current daily carry is an Sig P365 XL. I added a red dot and a light, the old eyes aren’t what they used to be. The Cloak tuck holds the new setup nicely. I have recommended AG products to a few friends. They also use AG now. Good stuff reasonably priced.

I finally found a comfortable IWB holster! I have it on the right side appendix carry position and it fits perfectly. My draw is quick and smooth. Thank you Alien Gear for making something that works on a woman’s body!
I bought 3 since they break. When I first got them they had a lifetime warranty now it is just 5 years. They used to swap them for free, now you have to buy them. If I could find a better holster that worked better and did not break, I would.
it's actually for a PSA Dagger Micro, but it fits just fine. I think I'm up to five Cloak Tucks for various pistols I rotate through. It's the BEST IWB holster on the market!
Super easy swap out! I upgraded my carry froman XD9 to a Hellcat. Ordered a new shell from Aliengear and had it changed in minutes. Great product!
Old shell lasted 8 years wearing 7/365. Old one finally cracked. Own several Alien Gear holsters and they are quality pieces.
Alien Gear quality and support has dropped significantly over the years. I purchased a shell for my cloak tuck in the Glock 43X MOS variety. Image displayed on website clearly shows the shell offers protection for the optic. However, what I received today was just the shell with a slight lower cut to accommodate an optic. Zero support for the optic itself. Used to love these holsters for their comfort and support, but it's clear that now they don't mind the old bait and switch.
Had I known this, I would have just adapted my previous G43 shell with a Dremel and saved myself the shipping and the wait.
Apologies but instead of doing an optics cover which only works for some optics; we have changed to doing optics cutouts so then it can accommodate for more optics variations. No switch or bait about it; we just changed the product design and the website also showed without a hood.
Finally a comfort holster for my 1911 .

I’ve own Alien Gear Holsters for a while now. This is cheap and poor quality compared to what they were. The older (~2019) cloak shells were made with clean lines and looked good. The new one that just received looked like something that someone made in their garage with Amazon kydex sheets. I can read the serial number to the Glock that they used to shape the kydex. If this is what their quality is now, I’ll never buy from them again.
I've had a AGH for a few years for my Ruger SR45 and absolutely love it, it was definitely a need for my new Ruger 57.
This was a replacement for an older one I had purchased and I broke.
The customer service response and delivery times were incredible! In less than a week I had the replacement and was back up and running.
This holster is my favorite for this weapon (and I have a few other brands for it) none of the others come close to being as good as this one. This one conceals very well especially for an OWB holster. It works so well I bought another for a larger firearm (full size Walther PDP 4-1/2”) and it even conceals the larger gun well. I highly recommend this holster and I will be purchasing more of them for several other firearms. You won’t be disappointed with this one and Alien Gear customer service is outstanding.
