READ REVIEW IN IT’S ENTIRETY! This holster is NOT compatible with the newest update of the Glock 48. Although the product page states the holster does not work with an optic, it also does not iterate that it also will not accommodate the rail that Glock has updated the standard non-MOS G48 with. DO NOT attempt to use this on the newest standard G48’s with an accessory rail (including the non-MOS version) until the product is updated. It creates a dangerous situation where there is an overly tight retention (even with the retention unit entirely loosened) that could keep you from getting the firearm out. More concerning, contact between the rail of the firearm and the shell rotates the firearm inside of the holster’s trigger guard by multiple degrees tempting a possible accidental discharge upon holstering. Hopefully the trigger safety would prevent this but I’m personally unwilling to test that theory, especially in an appendix carry position.
With that being said, I have this holster for my G19 Gen 5 along with my S&W M&P 2.0 and love it. I also have multiple other iterations of the Cloak Tuck for multiple firearms and find them just as comfortable with a predictable and adjustable retention. Customer service for my issue was prompt and agreed (without an argument) to refund the entire order, including S&H and issued a shipping label for me to send the holster back due to the advertising confusion. I hope that the product will be updated to be compatible with the most recent G48 updates as I would love to purchase this again. I would also like to see a claw/wing that is optional to slightly rotate the handle inwards.

The belt clip is very flexible, not rigid enough. I'm not crazy about the locking nuts. I know this holster is a modular type,but I'm not sure how well they will stay tight over time, assembly/disassembly.
Pretty decent holster if you want a quick pick up for a new carry piece. Unfortunately there wasn't a commander sized shell option, so I had to chop the full length 1911 size down with a dremel. Overall comfy holster with good retention that doesn't seem to scratch up the finish.

I have several, same quality as I’ve come to expect.
I have carried my VP9SK for almost two years now using this holster. I had two others before it, a thin leather holster, and a thin kydex holster with a concealment claw and they can’t hold a candle to the comfort of this holster. It isn’t the most concealing holster, I think the belt clip is too thick and there’s no claw option to tuck in the handle, but by far it is my favorite holster. I think there’s an argument that the belt clip could have been steel molded into the polymer instead of just polymer to thin it out, and I also think there’s an argument that a claw could be easily molded into the whole belt clip assembly, but in spite of those two flaws, this holster goes with me everywhere. The neoprene backer is comfy and breathable, carried it in Florida for a while, sweat did get to my weapon, but that’s expected. Much more breathable than any other option I’ve researched
Been running AlienGear since 2014 from the 3.0 to 3.5 and 4.0. You were the first to put Polymer shells and holsters inside the belt and eventually everywhere. You beat out Blackhawk and Safariland. The Appendix 4.0 is my favorite as to me a Freedom Holster as I wear at 4 o’clock. 4.0 is added security with it’s hardshell and vary comfortable for hours of wear as the backing holds even the heaviest platforms in position without having to reach and verify where it’s at and along with NO PRINTING. GREAT SYSTEM for a GLOCK of all models.

Look, it is extremely comfortable, and it is way better than most I’ve used but…..the clip is trash and the plastic seems to be…well plastic clips (reminds me of my GI Joe stuff when I’d clip and twist stuff on not in a hateful way but don’t be surprised when you get this and it’s …well plastic which holds up well to sweat and weather and wear. If I could please make a recommendation to reinforce the belt clip with metal inside? This would be spot on for me and I would pay a little more if the clip would retain the holster when I draw. The flexibility in the clip makes setting the retention in the holster extremely important. Otherwise your draw under pressure could, (I’m going to quote someone I met once), “get you got.” Thank you for being yall keep up the good work, but do better on this almost great product!

Perfect fitment, quality is great, and is comfortable to wear. This is the second one ive ordered from them and have been very happy with what i got.
The belt clip is horrible. It doesn't hold the holster in. I noticed that there was an upgrade that you can buy a metal one for an extra I think it was $20 but instead why don't you just make a better holster in general instead of trying to rip people off for another $20. I really don't understand you saying that the metal clip is recommended but you still sell the holster without it and you charge an extra $20 for a clip that actually makes the holster do what it's supposed to do and retain on the Belt if you need to draw. I will never buy another holster from you guys again. My feelings are you going to spend this much money for Ulster it should be perfect not give an option to upgrade that is recommended but you do nothing about making it better unless you upgrade you know the clip is bad you say in your description if I could do a zero Stars I would

Somewhat disappointed. Very difficult to pull my pistol out of holster designed for the EZ 380. No apparent adjustment.

Doesn’t hold Glock 30 as securely as my other alien gear holsters hold similar weapons even with adjusted retention but is comfortable and serves my purpose.
The accessory rail does not fit inside the holster.
