I love the construction of the holster and the retention adjustment but I needed to modify the closed end for the muzzle. I have a compensator on my hellcat and it would not fit in the holster until I opened up the muzzle end with a Dremel tool. I also had to shave away the OSP hood because it was not designed for all red dot sights. My red dot is from Holosun and it was larger than the opening on this holster. After my modifications, it works very well and I like it very much. I hope future products offer more versatility with sights and extended barrels.

Great holster overall. Perfect for my needs. 3 stars due to lack of clear cut users instructions. This is my first Alien Gear holster so I was not sure on how to adjust retention. There was minimal documentation referring me to the website users guide which was completely useless. Finally found a 6-7 year old video on YouTube showing regarding retention adjustments. That needs to change!

Great addition to the shapeshift line. Exceptional for in car carry where I live. Velcro works great and didn’t have to drill holes in the SUV dash.
The holster itself is a neat idea except that the velcro is very weak. I have a Glock 26 with a 10 round mag, with the weight of the gun and full mag, the holster starts to unstick little by little causing it to fall off.

Since i have hip issues, i use the shape shift shoulder harness. Since they did not make one for the echelon, i bought the shape shift kit for the xdm as they share the same trigger guard profile. I did have to trim the barrel stop area to allow the extra barrel length. Works great
I got this for Eberlestock Bando XL fanny pack. Fits and works great.
The adhesive isn't sticking to my vehicles dash I have tried two of the three that were sent to be and neither one of them have stuck. The holster itself is amazing
But I thought this would attach to my shapeshift shoulder holster and detach to a (car, nightstand, etc.) on demand. The backing is the same shape as the shoulder holster mount; I feel like they missed an awesome opportunity to expand their modular nature. Some custom work and I’ll have it made up, GREAT QUALITY! But one major thing that I ran into is running Comps and custom slides on all my models. I purchased originally back in like 2011, all was well as they were a passthrough holster, but now there’s end caps on all of them so my barrels never fit. A lil dremel action and we’re good but I miss the pass through ends of the original shells. Carrying suppressed or comp’d or with an extended slide? Expect a little custom work. Again: amazing quality and innovation! Will always buy and I STILL USE MY ORIGINAL CLOAK TUCK 2.0 from around 14 years ago. New shells fit perfect.
Holds up well, doesn’t seem to sag when holster loaded. Easy to apply.

Velcro attachment is very secure and heavy duty. As always the Alien Gear holster fits my pistol perfectly.
It works well and I plan to sew landing pads into some of my jacket pockets. I bought it with a shell for my 1911, intending to also use it for a smaller pistol. Note that the small trigger guard piece when using the half shell between this and the pocket holster are not the same. The guard for the smaller pistol depresses the mag release on the 1911. Be careful to not get them mixed up.

The holster is exactly what I wanted; however, I am still looking for a mounting pad that will stick to the surface I am trying to use!! I washed and cleaned the area as suggested however after a week the pad let go and the weapon fell!
Got it for the wife to put inside a purse and center console of her truck. She is happy with it which makes me really happy with it
Adhesive doesnt stay. Have used all 3 pads trying to get it to stick. Used proper instructions. Cleaned area with alcohol and stuck it in my car under my steering wheel. All 3 have fallen and now im stuck with an unusable holster. Pretty disappointed great idea poor execution.
Solid plastics will work all day every day. Not crazy cool or bad at all just mid tier really. Had to cut out for the red dot so if you run optics you’ll have to cut works great for the 945 tactical bad that’s what I use mine for.

Great quality with additional options for access. Although a rare option, I originally purchased for off body carry with Oakley extractor sling. I ended up using it more often for vehicle access for longer drives when IWB holster was not comfortable. Another win for adaptability.
Love how this hooks to my holster. Easy to put on, just wish the buckle was a bit bigger. Can take some squeezing to thread the end thru it at times.
Biggest complaint would be I let the wife try on my LARGE and it was HUGE on her, wrapping almost the whole way around here again. So, I ordered a MEDIUM, and she has about 3-4 inches to hook onto the belt.
Why is everyone that we tried HUGE in the large sizing and then WAY SMALLER dropping down to the medium size.
The glue for the Velcro didn’t hold up.
