The Cloak Mod Springfield XD-E 4.5 Paddle Holster is an open-top OWB for when concealment is the last thing on your mind. The Cloak Mod is a rugged OWB with more passive retention than almost any other holster on the market.

The Cloak Mod Springfield XD-E 4.5 holster features a rugged back plate, joined by a spring steel flex plate and a molded thermoelastomer surface. This construction ensures the holster can stand up to a lot of abuse and activity.

The holster is completed by a custom-molded retention shell, molded precisely for the Springfield XD-E with 4.5-inch barrel. This ensures the pistol is retained, as well as a sure draw and reholstering. Passive retention is adjustable by tightening or loosening the mounting hardware, but is also reinforced by the spring steel flex plate.

The holster comes standard with our paddle attachment. The paddle is contoured, for comfortable carry, with a retention lip for a more secure carry. However, the "Mod" means "modular," as you can reconfigure as you see fit. The holster can also be equipped with a belt slide attachment, which is included with purchase.

The Cloak Mod can also be used with special attachments with other holster platforms made by Alien Gear Holsters, such as our Cloak Dock mount, MOLLE holster and backpack strap holster adapters, Driver Defense car holster mount and our Drop Leg Holster platform.
