I love how adjustable everything is. I hate that I have to detach the strap and reattach it at the top of my leg multiple times throughout a shift because it falls down. I wish there was a strap restraint to hold the extra fabric on the strap. The directions say to cut it and burn it but my weight fluctuates too much for me to feel comfortable doing that.
The only other negative is the flimsy plastic piece that serves as the swivel. It's almost impossible to get the qds to detach from the belt clip because you have to push against that flimsy plastic piece and it wants to bow and bend before finally releasing. I wish that was more rigid.
I've bought 5 holsters and different packages for them from AlienGear for different Rugers. Bought this exact individual holster for about 30 dollars a few years ago. Must be the tariffs.
First time using an Allen gear holster and it's not as bulky as I thought it would be. I'm happy to say it comfortable even for a big guy.
First time trying Allen gear cloak holster. I'm happy to say its comfortable and not as bulky as I thought it would be.
Well thought out and executed design. Careful attention to clearance around the trigger guard making for a safe holster design for the p320.
Most comfortable holster I've ever owned
2nd chest holster better than the first
It would be nice if the molding for the holster was higher on the top of the revolver and around the cylinder. My pants are over the top of the molding on all but the highest holster settings which makes drawing the firearm difficult because my pants get stuck on the cylinder of the revolver at times. Im also not a huge fan of the belt clips. Ill be purchasing a set of steel belt clips. Other than that it is a decent holster
This is a great appendix rig.Very balanced with good retention and a comfortable pad for everyday carry.
It works your shoulder holster ain't that good
I've got a gunfighter shoulder holder that's 10 times better than anything alien gear ever made
And I have three Vedder holsters
Fit in already have the shoulder holster that alien gear has discontinued it's not a bad shoulder holster for the shield but I'm looking it better ones I never would have bought what I bought and I never plan on buying another alien gear holster they're not all that good and it's all a gimmick
Exceptional build quality…intuitive and thoughtful design that performs every time.
I own two P365s, one the spectre comp where the comp is milled into the front of the slide and the other has a Radian Ramjet-Afterburner on the slide. Both of these slides sit on a XMacro frame and that is why I ordered the Level II XMacro Comp shell. I am pleased with the way my guns fit in this holster. No rattle, lock securely and come out smoothly...what else can one ask for? If I had to nitpick it is that the holster is 10/16" longer than the guns.
The holster is well made but was missing some nuts in the package so I can’t use the claw and the clip at the same time.
Holster is also pretty bulky. The curves and edges around the holster could use some contouring to eliminate excess bulk, especially if worn appendix. Good thing I did not get the mag caddy; that’s a lot of extra stuff shoving down my pants.
The edge tubing started coming apart. Time to replace the backer.
The best duty holster I have used and experienced. I use it on the Alien Gear drop leg rig and with a paddle by switching quickly with the QDS setup on each.
Carry it everyday for work. I have lots over experience with the level 3 from years on the agency team and being an FI. This was a seamless transition and in my opinion best holster on the market for professionals.
