Alien Gear is pleased to bring you the next step in the evolution of the 1911 shoulder holster. The ShapeShift 1911 Shoulder Holster is designed for greater comfort, greater security in carry, and more customizability than you thought possible.
Even with a shoulder holster, 1911 pistols require ample support to carry comfortably. Ours is supported by durable straps. Belt hooks anchor the straps in place to keep the holster securely in place. The straps use the clover design, allowing the straps to move with the wearer, keeping the holster from shifting position with motion.
This 1911 leather shoulder holster is also designed to carry comfortably.
Many designs of shoulder holster for 1911 pistols are built to carry but not so much for comfort. The clover harness also ensures that the pistol stays in a comfortable position for carry, once you've adjusted it to a comfortable position. The straps are also adjustable to fit the holster perfectly for you.
The shoulder straps are padded for extra comfort with our CoolVent perforated neoprene, as is the holster and magazine carrier platforms. Besides providing cushioning, they also wick away moisture and breathe against the skin for incredible comfort.
The fitment is custom, as we dock a ShapeShift holster shell, the half-shell configuration. You get a full wrap of the trigger guard, with fully adjustable passive retention. However, we also include a removable thumb break should you prefer one. You'll also notice the magazine carrier platform, compatible with Alien Gear's Cloak Mag Carriers. Carry up to two spare magazines along with your pistol.
You won't find this degree of customizability with any other 1911 shoulder holster. The locking cam inserts allow the mag carrier base to be worn right- or left-handed, but the holster base must be ordered for the correct orientation.
Cant angle is also fully customizable. You can carry in the horizontal position or as a 1911 vertical shoulder holster.
