Cloak Chest Holster Base by Alien Gear Holsters
The Chest Holster Base can be obtained separately if you already have a holster shell for your carry gun. If you prefer a bit of DIY initiative to create your own chest holster with your existing holster shell, you can totally do that.
The holster base gives you the platform to create your own across the chest holsters with any Alien Gear Holsters retention shell that you have. Please note, however, that it is not compatible with ShapeShift shells - it lacks the docking mount - and also that you will need to order the holster base for the type of firearm you intend to carry.
If you are going to carry a revolver, you will need to order the revolver chest holster base.
If you are going to use this as, say, a 1911 chest holster with your Delta Elite or 10mm 1911 pistol, you will need to order the holster base for semi-autos.
The holster base features heavy-duty nylon straps. They're light, durable and also comfortable. The ultra-tough polymer clips ensure you chest gun holster is totally secure on your person, but also doesn't make excessive noise when traveling through the brish.
The base is also padded with our CoolVent neoprene, a moisture-wicking and breathable cushioning fabric that makes your chest rig holster comfortable to wear. The edges are fully bound for additional comfort.
We also reinforce our chest holster base with layers of spring steel and woven ballistic nylon. It creates a more stable platform, ensuring reliable draws from the holster as well as reholstering. The holster base remains flexible, however, so it still wears comfortably.
