People talk a lot about tactical advantage. Gear absolutely plays a role in tipping the scales in your favor.
Equipment choice should be strategized for situational need, which makes the ShapeShift Glock 43 Thigh Holster a primary option for a reactive drop thigh holster designed for modularity.
Let's unpack why that's true.
The central polymer component is molded to the thigh with two thick polyester heavy woven elastic straps, which come in two sizes, that have the ability to stretch for comfort. These wrap around the thigh while a wide vertical strap loops over and under the belt.
That vertical strap is secured with velcro, and can be raised or lowered 7 to 11 inches, depending on arm length and belt width, increasing the holsters' accessibility higher or lower on the leg.
Speaking of which, there are two compatible holster systems with the ShapeShift Thigh Holster.
The ShapeShift holster mount is mounted to the thigh holster in the center at four points, each of which can have spacers added. The full Shift Shell configuration is then attached with the spline component, which allows the holster to be canted forward and backward in 12 degree increments.
The Cloak Mod OWB Paddle Holster is also compatible with the ShapeShift Thigh Holster.
On either side of the center mounting point, a spline attachment may be bolted into the thigh rig. This allows for two extra single Alien Gear Mag Carriers to be attached, which technically can be raised or lowered.
However, that center mounting point is also compatible with a double mag carrier attachment instead of a holster mount attachment.
Let's do the math.
Four mag carriers can be carried on a single ShapeShift Thigh Holster. If carrying with a thigh holster on the left leg and the right leg, six magazines can be carried with a holster mounted in the center of one, which would have a loaded magazine and a round in the chamber.
Seven magazines on hand, a fully enclosed trigger guard and a round in the chamber.
Now we're talking about tactical advantage.
The modularity doesn't stop at the thigh holster. The ShapeShift full-shell configuration can be transitioned to a holster mount off the body in a secure location (like a desk or car) or to a ShapeShift OWB Paddle Holster on the waistline.
This is done in one motion by engaging the release on the mount.
Furthermore, that full-shell configuration may be reconfigured into the half-shell configuration, which is compatible with available options like the ShapeShift 4.0 IWB Holster, the ShapeShift Appendix Carry Holster and the ShapeShift OWB Slide Holster.
Each configuration has a passive retention unit to tighten or loosen the passive retention to personal preference. An optional thumb release can be installed for an active retention system.
The best part? All of this is made on American soil by American gun owners for American gun owners.
Pair all that with a Forever Warranty and 30-day test drive and that gives our thigh holster a tactical advantage over the entire gun accessory market.
But we'll let you be the judge of that.
