Alien Gear's universal shell system also makes it possible for every holster to have completely customizable retention. Our shells can be adjusted to find the perfect retention force that you prefer, and we also include several lengths of hex screw and crushable washer in case the factory standard hardware for your M&P40 2.0 gun holster aren't quite to your liking.

You merely need to select the backing platform of your choosing.

If an M&P40 2.0 IWB holster is your preference, you can select the leather Cloak Tuck or the ultra-modern Cloak Tuck 3.0, featuring a multi-layered backer. The 3.0 has a neoprene backpad for comfort, a woven nylon and spring steel core for a durable spine and a top layer of our Alien Skin textured fabric for a superior hold. The original Tuck is made from black or tan 12-oz leather, thicker and higher quality than many other leather hybrid holsters out there.

Should OWB be your preference, you can select the Cloak Slide OWB - a leather hybrid belt slide OWB holster - or the Cloak Mod OWB. The Cloak Mod, a modular M&P40 2.0 OWB holster, can be worn as a paddle holster or a belt slide - you can change between the two in mere moments.

Select models are also adjustable for ride height and grip cant, so you can set up your holster to carry in exactly the position you want.
