Can't give a full review. This is a gift. I only got to holster and unholster enough times to make sure it fit before wrapping it up. Seems great.
Another fine alien gear product!!! Im looking forward to adding the dynamic drop leg holster as well. Newly promoted armed guard for a dispensary grow farm and everyone compliments my holster. As always, ill be looking forward to what they bring to shot show 2026!!!!!

holds my weapon in place, some what adjustable retention. Material is comfortable and does not rub. I carry at 5 o'clock and there is minimal to no printing through my shirts.
There is apiece on the left handed holster that is stuck cause it belonged on a right handed holster so its not working the way it should.

I ordered the Photon Backer to add a bit more comfort to the Photon holster for my Hellcat Pro w/red dot sight. Definitely added to the comfort since the Photon itself is not backed like most of the Shape Shift series. The draw and return seem to be even a bit smoother with the backer in place cause it gives just that little bit of extra distance from the body.
Works amazingly well with the Tac Strap I have. Doesn’t shift when im moving or entering or exiting my vehicle
It was not lining up with my photon iwb holster. very hard to align.
The rapid force level 2 is pho nominal. I can use it for my Glock 19 with radian ramjet and my Glock 47 just change the pistol not the holster.
This is a well fitting and great quality holster.
I use an Alien Gear Rapid Force Duty Level 3Holster for my duty weapon at work and this is a great addition at Level 2 retention. Will be buying another soon.
The holster works and functions perfectly. If you like Safariland, this holster exceeds them.
