A Shield 45 shoulder holster either needs to be adjustable or tailor-made for a custom fit, with a lead time and expense to match. This is necessary for a proper fit, but so many other holster makers don't build in the proper adjustability into their shoulder harness.
Our Shield 45 leather shoulder holster straps have several inches of adjustability, so you can dial in the proper fit. The straps are also fastened together via a clover harness, articulating while you wear it to sit on your shoulders naturally. You'll also notice the shoulder straps are padded with our CoolVent perforated neoprene for extra comfort.
The holster is also adjustable for ride height and cant. Wear high, tight and horizontal, or drop it lower to the belt and wear as a Shield 45 vertical shoulder holster.
The holster itself is our ShapeShift shell for the Shield 45, so you get a custom fit out of the packaging, with no need for break-in time. Passive retention is customizable; set it how you want it. You can also carry with or without the included thumb break strap. It's removable, so only use it if you want it.
